Review: I purchased a vehicle (2014 [redacted]). One of the selling points, that was a factor in my purchasing this vehicle from Action Hyundai, was that we would get free oil changes for as long as we owned the vehicle.

As it turns out, they refuse to provide free oil changes unless they can also charge me for a complete package of other services that I don't want or need, and that are, IMO, inflated to more than cover their cost of the "free" oil change.

I think this is false advertising (regardless of any "fine print" discovered later). This is not an offer in good faith to provide free oil changes with the purchase of the vehicle, but a gimmick to lock customers into buying services they don't want or need, and in fact, in some cases, are not even required by [redacted] for the maintenance of the vehicle or warranty compliance (such as oil additives).

In order to take advantage of the "free" oil change due me at 7500 miles, for example, I would literally have to pay around 2 times what an oil change, tire rotation and fuel additive would cost me at my local garage. This makes the "free" oil changes I purchased, worthless to me.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the free oil changes I was promised by the salesman selling me the car, for literally, free.

I have had a terrible experience with this dealer, the worst customer experience I've undergone. My wife and I purchased a vehicle in 2011. We came in with a consumer reports guaranteed price which the salesman confirmed would be the final price. When it came time to purchase he claimed there were thousands of dollars extra in "treatments" and "finishes" that had to be added in. I should have walked away then but, since I expected that sort of duplicitous behavior from a car dealer, I haggled and made the purchase. What has followed has been four of years of relentless mailings and phone calls using manipulative language to attempt to extract more money from us for one service or other. No amount of requests that these phone calls and mailings stop has been successful. When I posted a negative review on the dealer site they responded by attacking me in the comment section and posting personal information from the purchase. Buyer beware!
