American Home Shield referred my furnace issue to Action Mechanical Services, O'Fallon, IL. They did a terrible job repairing my furnace. The technician misdiagnosed the issue and told my wife it was just a filter that needed replacing. After replacing the filter the entire furnace went out in less than 24 hours. We contacted the company and they wanted to send the same technician. We were referred to Thermodyne and they repaired the problem within minutes and the technician was very professional.
We work for the warranty company that she contracted through American home shield They require a service report the unit is tolbs low on refrigerant/ The only thing her warranty company authorized us to do was add stop leak to the system charge the unit with refrigerant and
unfortunately her warranty company only covers $per pound of that refrigerant costAmerican home Shield will not authorize nor pay for a leak search until the unit is more than pounds low on refrigerant, this is their company policy not ours this homeowner needs to contact her warranty company and submit a complaint to them through the Revdex.com The homeowner refused to pay the cost of the refrigerant and American home Shield closed the claim out Unfortunately we work for her warranty company we do not set policies and procedures she needs to contact American home Shield in regards to this matter we handle her claim according to their guidelines that they set forthIf she wishes to contract us directly we charge $for a leak search and then give the estimate for the proper repairs
We were hired through the home warranty company about a garbage disposal and we repaid it. The repair comes with a 90 day warranty. A month later we received another notice from the home warranty company about the disposal. We saw leaks and rust issues and informed the warranty company the disposal...
needs to replace and the warranty company approved. The technician returned to replace the disposal but the customer said "Not at this time" and the technician left.

The work was started and when it came time for Mrs.[redacted] to pay the non-covereds, she told the tech she didn't have any money; according to American Home Shield she still doesn't have the required funds to pay the non-covereds through her warranty company. This all happened over two years ago.
