We had a flood in our basement earlier this year and we called capital constructionWe could not believe how efficient and reasonable this company was and that they transformed our basement into a space that we never thought possible They worked arduously and had our entire basement was reconstructed in daysI have never seen anything like their customer service and every single thing we asked them to do was done and more We have had experience with other construction companies in the area and by far this is the only company that I will call in the future and the only company that I would recommend my friends

A great company I had my basement totally flooded and this company came in at short notice and demoed and cleaned up the mess They also gave me a very fair price on the remodeling of my basementTheir work was the very best I've seen We are so proud of our new basement and we even got a play are made for our two boys With a very hands on boss a great foreman and brilliant staff we can't say enough good about Capital constructionVery pleased house owner

My father recently employed Action Painting Pros for many painting and handy man projects at his home They stripped the garage floor and repainted with epoxy to achieve a high end decorative look They were not allowed to drive into the garage for 3-days for the floor to cure/dry After parking in the garage for 4-weeks the paint has come up where each tire touched the floor The problem is he has called Action Painting to times over the past two months and could not even get a return call This painting job was very expensive and he fully expected Action Painting Pros to stand behind their work as they said they would
Final notice was given at 8:30AM on 6/21/to schedule a visit to assess the situation and come up with a plan of action They were told if they did not receive a call back by noon that day we would have to resort to social media A call back was received, however now three more weeks have passed with zero action No one has come out or followed up It is pretty sad service when you pay $1,to paint your garage floor and the paint is coming off after the first days They were very engaging prior to and during the work, however now that a problem has come up they are non-existent and invisible

Our condo association in *** *** has contracted Capital Construction for many projects – most recently, a siding renovation This involved removing several layers of old siding and replacing with a high quality fiber cement from James H*** During the “de-construction” the crew found two extra layers of siding which were not on our original scope of work, however, Jude W*** (sales manager) and Steve C*** (production manager) properly addressed this issue to come up with a reasonable, mutually acceptable, cost effective solutionEveryone we worked with at Capital Construction from sales and admin to the on-site project manager, to the guys doing the work were courteous and professional They kept on schedule with open lines of communication so we always knew what time they would show up in the morning and what was being done each day They were also always available to answer questions The job site was kept safe and cleaned up at the end of every day The project cost was slightly higher than other local contractors, however, was well worth paying a slight bit more due to the quality of work and the integrity of people representing the company With construction there are always possibilities for “unforeseen issues” when taking on a major project (new siding, new roof, new windows, etc.) In my opinion it is how those “unforeseen issues” are resolved which differentiates a company and makes it superior David Arrowsmith and his team at Capital Construction are professional, knowledgeable, and responsive and (to me) those are critical factors for a successful business experienceOur new siding looks beautiful and has helped solve leaks and drafts we were experiencing in the past We are pleased with the work and our experience and would highly recommend Capital Construction to others considering construction or renovation projects

Recently I hired Capital Construction to refinish the exterior deck of my condo It is elevated (wraps around the second floor of the home) and so it required extra steps to ensure the deck below was not dripped upon or damaged in any way They did an excellent job sanding down the deck, nailing down loose boards and staining the deck They also did an excellent job protecting the deck below They were very professional and easy to deal with The project only took a couple of days and they made sure to clean and neaten everything up at the end of each day so that it didn't look like a construction war zone I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to others

After receiving bids for a new roof, I went with CCC The sales pitch is formal and takes about an hour They provided the most thorough info about roofing options, and even though their price was a bit higher than some others, I came away with some comfort that they would do a good job with superior products (and better guarantees that include labor) Be prepared to commit at the end of the day of the sales visit if you want a discount (a practice that many companies appear to use, but which drives me crazy when I have to make a sudden decision to spend thousands of dollars on something once every years)Due to some unforeseen flashing challenges and inclement weather, the job took longer than the days predicted, but that wasn't a problem Everyone I dealt with, from the folks in the office to ***, the crew chief, were extremely professional and communicative They took care to address flashing and underlayer issues around chimney, dormers and roof pipes, and they explained the work that they had to do (which had been figured into their quote, so there were no surprises at the end)I had been concerned about newer plantings on the property, and they took great care to avoid any damage They did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day, and they scheduled a walk through with me when the job was completed It's a drag to have to spend $$$ on a roof, but I feel very good about the experience and trust that if there are any problems in the future, they would be there to address them
