Good afternoon, The amount that this customer is disputing is in reference to a service call starting on 8/12/caused by the pump not working. My on call technician found that the float switch, which is a secondary component to the pump, was not operating properly. We returned to
install the new switch after speaking with *** and getting his approval for the job. The switch was working properly when the pump was replaced on 3/16/2016. We don't arbitrarily replace components on any item that we work on, unless it is deemed necessaryThis call is NOT related to the original replacement, therefore we feel payment from the customer is warrantedThere was a call on 5/2/where we found that the pump had twisted in the coupling causing the float switch to hit the side of the basket and not operate. This call was warrantied and we did not receive payment from the customer Again, I want to stress that this most recent call had nothing to do with the original issue
