Review: I own a 2001 Chrysler 300M that I have an extended warrenty with. I brought my car to this shop on 2/**/14 for repair of a head gasket. I made them well aware that I had a warrenty and they had to work with them for the repairs and they agreed. I told them as per the warrenty they needed to make an assessment of the damage,call them and open a claim which they said they would do. I assumed this was done. I became busy and did not call for three weeks but when I did to check up on the progess I was told that they had done nothing, that they tried to make a claim and was told that I had to. When I called myself my warrent co. told me there was no record of a call and that I was right and the shop had to make a claim. I then called the shop wit the warrenty co. on the line and had the claim started. Ten days goes by and the warrenty co. calls me yesterday to tell me the shop is not cooperating, In fact the shop, [redacted] the [redacted], said he would not do an itemized estimate that it would take him to long and wanted to be paid for his time doing th estimate and then hung up on him. The warrenty co. suggested I move my car out of their ASAP. I moved my car today, he charged me $145 for the diagnostic, but did not repair the car. This is most unprofessional and I feel I should have the $145 returned to me as he did not repair the car. He should also be repremanded as a so called business [redacted] he is lazy and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I believe his diagnostic test was useless to me as my new shop will have to run another one as per the warrenty. He chose not to do the work wich was covered and guarenteed because he did not want to complete the paperwork. I paid him at the time because he was holding my car hostage and would not release the car until he was paid, but ultimately he did not deserve that money.
