Active Environmental Technologies Inc

Review: I contracted with Active on 10/21 for the removal of an above ground oil tank. A $250 deposit was paid and permits applied for. There was no contact from the company to discuss progress. I had exchanged phone calls and emails with [redacted].Upon calling the township, I ascertained that permits were approved on 11/3. I called on 11/9 and spoke with [redacted], the project manager inquire as to the status of the job. I made it clear that I was unhappy with the company's handling of the job. He agreed to speak with scheduling and call on 11/10 with an update.On 11/12, I spoke with the receptionist and asked to be connected to an owner or manager. She refused to connect me saying no one was available and told me to speak again with [redacted]. I indicated I would not do so as he had been ineffective and asked for someone else in charge. She referred me to Brian Hughes, who was also not in the office, but said she would leave a message. I asked for a return call at the start of business on 11/13. No response.Desired Settlement: Active Environmental Technologies is in violation of their contract. They received a deposit to complete a job and have not in good faith, attempted to do so. They must fulfill their contractual obligation.
