He confirmed and reassured me 'that's not the way they operate' The rep showed up on time and took a look

Me: But I told Carl the exact situation and was quoted $total
Rep: Ma'am, that's just for my trip, my time and my gas
Me: That's why I asked and confirmed with him times
Rep: Ma'am, it'll be $176! Do you want it done or not?

I called early in the morning just before a holiday outside of normal business hours and left a message. I received a call back within 5 minutes with a promise to come out within 2 hours. It was determined the water heater had to be replaced (it was over 15 years old so I knew it was time) and they did it at a very fare price. I would recommend their service and will use them again.
