My experience was that I brought a Milwaukee radio there for them to diagnose the issue of why it never worked plugged inNow the radio still worked with a battery in it, just not plugged in! I paid $for them to diagnose it and was told that if it is less than $they would just fix it, any price over they would call first to see whether we would spent the extra to fix the issueAll good and they didbut it was $to fix and decided not to go through with it because after all it still worked with a battery! Told to come pick up the radio then if not getting if repairedSo I went to pick it up and the guy handed me my radio in pieces LITERALLY! I asked what was going on I couldn't believe that was my radio he was handing back to me in two trips....he couldn't carry it all in one trip! They then told me that oh we don't put it back together! I was on shock I asked wher does it say anywhere that they don't put something back together even though I just paid $to just have it diagnosed....do I have to pay extra to get it reassembled!! They told me that there used to be a sign saying it but no body read it!! They were so rude to me and I left there crying knowing I had to go and explain this to my boyfriendDisgusting how they made me feel and the disrespect to a customer was so uncalled forWhen I asked to speak to a manager or owner hr said your speaking to him and that's my policyKnow where do it say this on my receipt or invoice not anywhereSave yourself the trouble and disgust and don't give any business to this place

I was directed to take a pressure washer in for warranty repair by [redacted] to Active Tool Repair on Barton Street in Hamilton. I brought this unit in on November 9th to Active Tool & Repair, provided the receipt of purchase & when I went to leave I was told I would have to pay an $11 environmental fee. When I asked what that Environmental fee was specifically for all I got was "we charge this on all of our work orders".

The first thing I asked myself was what could you possibly have in a pressure washer that would require an environmental fee for. So I asked what if there was nothing to dispose. I was told it didn't matter. I would have pay it.

I left & will not return to a company. I feel sorry for anyone that has already been taking advantage of this charge.

All good and they did... but it was $150 to fix and decided not to go through with it because after all it still worked with a battery! Told to come pick up the radio then if not getting if repaired. So I went to pick it up and the guy handed me my radio in 100 pieces LITERALLY!
