The patient in this case was provided a micro-needling treatment to help with eliminating wrinkles and tighten the skin of her face She signed an informed consent form and was told in person that some of the side effects of this treatment may be redness and swelling following the treatment,
however, it should not last longer than several days The patient did not call our office or let us know that she had these side effects until later after receiving care from another provider We did not see photos or anything in person regarding the complaint We have contacted this patient several days ago Because our customer is not happy with the treatment and feels that she needed treatment elsewhere for her swelling and redness, as a courtesy we have agreed to refund a portion of the amount paid to us After a phone conversation with the patient's spouse they feel comfortable and are happy with our decision in this case No injury or complications have resulted from this treatment
