Due to Hippa Laws and Regulations we are unable to respond on the nature of Mrs. [redacted]’s medical issues with regards to her complaints with our clinic. We can respond on the complaints of her treatment plan however. Mrs. [redacted] signed up for a 5 month treatment plan with medical issues...
that we typically see positive affects for with 90% of the patients we treat with similar issues. Unfortunately, Mrs. [redacted] fell into the 10% of the population that does not respond to treatment methods provided by our clinic. This outcome was quickly recognized after the first month of treatment. Before moving forward with any other treatment or causing anymore expense for Mrs. [redacted], our provider and owner recommended treatment cease and a refund of her remaining balance on her account be processed. This was discussed with Mrs. [redacted] and the cancellation and refund was agreed upon at her last visit. Mrs. [redacted]’s cancellation and refund was noted on April 12th and she was notified and aware that the refund process typically takes 30-45 days. This is also noted in the Health Plan Agreement Mrs. [redacted] signed at the beginning of her treatment plan. We take great umbrage in response to her accusations against our clinic and treatment methods. The Acupuncture and Wellness center has been a growing practice for 18 years with proven success stories with a great many of our patients. Our treatment methods are recognized, studied and implemented worldwide. We are the biggest and most renowned clinic in the Nation. The owner of our clinic travels the world teaching and training others his specific needling techniques, Pulse Diagnosis and Chinese Herbal treatments through seminars and workshops. He is highly recognized and notably honored in the field of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Attached to this response is a breakdown of the Cost of Services and Products received in Mrs. [redacted]’s first month of treatment as well as her up-front payment of her Treatment Plan and her refund. Attached also is a copy of the Health Care Plan agreement signed by Mrs. [redacted] that states our refund and cancellation policies. Mrs. [redacted] was aware that she could cancel her treatment plan at any time and that a refund would be issued based on a remaining balance after rendered products and services were paid and that no full refund guaranteed was given. As with any medical practice, Western or otherwise, no treatment is 100% guaranteed or monies refunded on treatment, products or services received.
