Customer called and left a basic message on April 28thCall was returned within two hours same day Customer cordially stated reason for calling Since this is the first contact received from this customer since January 2012, of course medical records and financial ledger must be
pulled Customer was informed that at present, seller is away from office on FEMLA {family emergency medical leave of absence } and would follow up in two weeks after medical records and ledgers are pulled and researched to reassess status of customer's request A cordial conclusion was made to follow up in two weeks This is the first contact from customer in over three years, a surprise and disappointment at complaint before an opportunity for resolution and after a cordial phone conversation where client's request was being researched

Per your Invoice *** dated 06/22/(attached above in "*** Invoice Number ***"), you are engaging in unfair and deceptive refund practices by reimbursing me only $(attached above in *** Partial reimbursement) of the total $you have owed me since I paid that amount on 01/19/for prepaid acupuncture services that were never received by me
Furthermore, you are denying you received payment for your initial consultation fee dated 01/12/12, which is indeed not the case and which is further verified by my canceled check number *** (attached above in "*** Canceled Checks") which you deposited in *** *** *** on 01/13/In addition, you have also added a “research/process/handling fee” of $on 06/19/to Invoice Number *** that was never previously disclosed to me in your place of business nor subsequently agreed upon
In the State of Hawaii, merchants are not allowed to charge or deduct restocking or “research” fees for processing a refund, merchandise credit or exchange unless the deduction is disclosed to the consumer before the purchaseThe disclosure must also be conspicuously posted in the merchant’s place of business, which your recently added after-the-fact “research fee” dated 06/19/was obviously notThe only transaction I signed other than my personal checks in your presence on 01/12/and 01/19/12, was an initial medical treatment agreement to receive acupuncture on 01/12/

I am rejecting this response because I would like to clarify that the vendor previously received payment in full for services rendered on 01/12/12 and 01/19/12 via separate transactions and that the transaction I am specifically requesting reimbursement for in the amount of $392.68 was for 5 FUTURE sessions of ADDITIONAL acupuncture not those performed on 01/12/12 and 01/19/12. I therefore expect to receive the full amount of $392.68 as requested as soon as possible, without delay. 30 days, or a partial payment of any kind, is not acceptable.
