Good morningIn response to this complaint I had already agreed with this homeowner about them pulling all complaints from all the different institutions they submitted itThey didn't desire to pay for all the change orders incurred during their project and I didn't desire to finish the work until
they paid for them as our contract stipulatedThey also owed me a good amount of money left over from our contract and I only needed to add a small piece of drywall to under the stairs to finalize the inspections and they refused to pay me what was owedOne more thing that needed to be done was added the shower glass door, but according to my guys ( I sent subs to measure the door) they were asking an upgraded door that wasn't part of our contractSo we agreed that before I seek legal action they were gonna use the money owed to finish the work themselves as many of the things they were claiming were part of my work were notThese people also went on *** and home advisors to spread lies about me, all of which have been removed due to my threats to make this a legal matterI'm attaching a copy of our contract where you can see that it clearly says they are supposed to pay for the change orders upfront, something they never did as all of them are still owed

No, the change orders were not paid in full and they know itContrary to that, her husband was trying to give me dollars for dollars worth of change orders and I didn't acceptThey know the only thing left to pass inspections is a small piece of drywall under their stairs that has nothing to do with the finish of the basementThe broken tile they are talking about was broken by the glass installer and he conveniently blamed me for it and they believed him, the glass door was never installed because they wanted an upgraded door and didn't want to pay for the extra chargeThey know I sent people to measure but they always wanted the upgraded door and not pay for the extra chargesThe vent is there, covered by drywall and all I have to do is cut the drywall to expose it, minute jobAnd if they know that I did such a poor job why not sue me or try to take legal action? because they know they owe me a lot of money and they don't want to pay me and they are out to smear my good nameThese people are very dishonest and have an asian illegal alien living with them as a nanny, thus making them law breakersI did an excellent job for them but this lady got mad at me for not doing a table for his twins and she wanted it done for freeThey even told my carpenter to do a piece of furniture in the second floor without having to go through me to save the contractor feeVery dishonest, law breaking peoplePlease do not accept their bad intentions of affecting me because as you know in this time and age of the internet if any bad review for a contractor goes a long wayPeople will not trust me and they will believe these people's lies and they don't even care to hear my side of the story, all because of lying people like the *** *** and her husband

All of the allegations he is doing, we went through that already in an email chain. I attached the email chain here as well. It has the details about change order he is claiming that we didn't pay and my response to when they were all paidI have checks and bank transactions to prove that. There is no point in prolonging this as he seems to be in an alternative reality of change orders or he believes that if he repeatedly holds on to the same lie, it becomes truth. A basic glass door was requested for basement and he is not able to accommodate that. We didn't upgrade the glass door and we have text proof of that. About the broken tile upstairs, the glass guy is his sub contractor so we believe if something went wrong with the work we ask the contractor. I have text proof of the table as well and that is included in the email conversations. Also we asked the carpenter for the estimate on the closet upstairs but never proceeded as he was working in our house. Everything about this contractor is unprofessional and we would not recommend him to our friends or family. We even consulted to proceed legally but as we don't want him to step into our home and finish the left over work, we didn't see a point to proceed legally. We just want to terminate the contract and get the work done by a different contractor. Or we can go to court and that will give us the flexibility to write reviews so that I can include all of these email conversations in the reviews, so people can see and decidethe second route to proceed legally and suit him, but we don't want to suit him as he doesn't owe us any money and we still have to pay him the final check of $which is due after all the work and inspections are done. We will use that money and finish the work with a different contractor
