Avoid Panaccio aka Bella Casa, scammed out of tens of thousands of dollars
Don't hire Alesio Panaccio aka Al or Robert Panacio aka Bob for anything. Al's exact words in speaking about his money woes and why he vacated my job - he said, "I am robbing Peter to pay Paul." Guess what, I am Peter and they are Paul. They lied and delayed and after 6 months of trying to get them to return to the job, I agreed to buy the materials because of their perpetual cash flow problems. They promised over and over to finish the job. The material sat on my lawn and driveway getting ruined for two months until I finally called these guys in default on our contract. I am out over $30k and have to sue these two in real court under PA statute UTPCPL.
I am willing to help anyone who is considering hiring these liars, so please contact me for additional info. I don't want anyone to go through what I went through. If by chance Al chooses to respond to this review with lies, please disregard and save yourself the headache. I think they both actually believe their own lies. AD Panaccio Building and Renovating or Bella Casa Design & Build or whatever other names they use are not real businesses. Don't make the same mistake I did . . . ignore the erroneous good reviews.

Avoid
Electrical and plumbing not up to building code. Did not follow the contract (no inspections/permits, did not do work as contracted). Poor quality work, poor communication, and the project ran months behind.

In total, the project cost close to $200K and was completed less than one year ago (Aug, 2019). Now we're facing at an additional 10~15% to fix leaks, tear up a floor, and repair things that were done incorrectly.

Avoid at all cost -- and using AD Panaccio will cost you dearly.

A.D.Panaccio did not finish work in a timely fashion, installed a cracked heater, electric outletsoutside malfunction, not only was the computer room leaking again which we paid over $1,000.00 to repair but the addition which he built onto our house still has ongoing leaks. The new windows they installed had no plugs for the screw holes. He originally asked for a deposit of $5000.00 and when he got it didn't start the work until almost 3 weeks later. The skylight developed a leak and despite my email with pictures, still has not come out to look at it. There were many occasions when at the end of the day, he did not come to inspect his workers' work to see if itwas done properly which resulted in the work area being in disarray and sloppy(on one occasionone of his workers actually cleaned a brush on a freshly painted surface which wasn't the color on the brush). Only after I complained repeatedly did he put a wood frame around a window that only had siding material supporting it and then there was the outside door which he finally put capping around. The above reasons and more that I haven't mentioned are the reasons why I don't want Al Panaccio or any of his workers to set foot on our property under any circumstances. We have paid another contractor who lives down the street to correct the leaks and also the damage done in our computer room.
