reference to Case ID [redacted]. Consumer [redacted] had an issue with one of our backpacks. It was an Urban sport Backpack.  Please note there is no warranty labeled on the backpack itself. Once customer got in contact with us by telephone, she was informed a replacement backpack would be sent to her. However that model of backpack she had was no longer being manufactured and there was no more inventory. The claim was put on hold until she contacted us again and we informed her a new style was going to be sent.
 
This backpack was shipped 8/** via UPS

However, this was sent to the incorrect house address.
 
A claim was opened with UPS to check status of Package, since this package was not signed by anyone and was dropped at the front door. This process was said to take up to 8 business days.
 
On September [redacted], [redacted] sent us an email ( see below) confirming neighbor had brought her the package.
 
Also on September [redacted] another replacement backpack was shipped out.

With the corrected address to replacement the backpack that was missing. This was already in the system on September [redacted] and was shipped in the morning September [redacted].

Review: I purchased a defective Fisher Price diaper bag that caused property damage as well as personal injuries.

On 08/**/13 I wrote an email to Fisher Price Baby Gear Consumer Relations.

On 08/**/13 I received an email from Matter Consumer Relations who informed me that AD Sutton & Sons was the manufacturer of the diaper bag and asked that I contact them regarding the injuries and property damage caused by the diaper bag.

On 08/**/13 I spoke to [redacted] at AD Sutton & Sons who identified himself as the head of the customer service department. I explained the issues to him and was asked to send a written description of the issues as well as pictures of the defective bag. I complied with the request.

On 08/**/13 I got a call from [redacted] who identified herself as the Controller of AD Sutton & Sons. I extensively explained and answered all the questions she asked (she stated so she could share this issue with the AD Sutton's President).

On 08/**/13 I received an email from [redacted] asking me to put everything in writing and provide evidence of the damages. On 08/**/13 I complied with her request and answered all their questions in writing and provided the pictures of the damage they requested.

On 08/**/13 I received an email from [redacted] offering $150 (one hundred fifty) and a replacement diaper bag. The email also stated that their offer was only good until 09/**/13.

Their offer was absurd and did not even begin to cover the property damages they caused. As a result I decided to obtain estimates so as to substantiate the damages they had caused me.

After obtaining all the estimates, my attorney advised to mail them to AD Sutton & Sons and to demand $10,000 as a settlement.

On 09/**/13 each of the estimates plus the pictures of the scratches to my son, scratches to my car and leather seat were mailed to AD Sutton & Sons via certified mail. The costs to repair the property damage alone added up to $2,759.63. Here is a breakdown: Enterprise Rental car $264.81 (cost for a rental while my vehicle is in the repair shop), Sheehy Subaru $1,113.74 (to replace the leather seat cover on my vehicle), Pohanka auto body $1,381.08 (to repair the scratches to my vehicle).

On 10/**/13 I received an email from AD Sutton & Sons stating that my claim was invalid and offering me $1,000 until 10/**/13 to settle the matter.Desired Settlement: I have spent an incredible amount of my time in this matter however because I want to put this behind me I am willing to settle this matter if AD Sutton & Sons covers AT THE VERY LEAST the costs associated with the property damage they have caused $2,759.63.

Also, I will not claim personal injuries to my son as the scratch to his leg has healed.

I hope to put an end to this matter ASAP.

Review: A.D. Sutton agreed to replace backpack that was defective. I have been assured replacement was on its way. Replacement never received. This has been going on since end of June. I was promised backpack was to be at my house Aug **. Backpack never arrived. I feel like I am getting a run around. Every time I call there is a different reason why the replacement hasn't shipped.
