Sadly, this company failed to deliver on it's promisesThere were several incidences of poor workmanship and poor customer service, and we would not recommend using their services to anyone We ordered replacement windows and doors for our whole house, including a French door that the company buys in from a foreign manufacturerAfter a review of the showroom examples of the different installation methodologies available, and discussion with a salesman, we chose the significantly more expensive installation methodWe did this as we believed it would be more aesthetically pleasing, but also because our discussions with the salesperson confirmed that the more precise nature of the cutting necessary to remove our old windows under this method would result in the desired aesthetics, as well as a more long-lasting and durable solution Sadly, the installers did not perform the work with the precision necessary to achieve the desired results/objectivesThe cuts made to remove our old windows were not measured well enough, or cut straight and precise enough to accommodate the new windows manufactured as tightly as they should have been in many instancesWe therefore feel that what we really got was the workmanship necessary for the cheaper alternative despite ordering the more expensive option To exacerbate their sub-standard workmanship, the installation crew attempted to hide and patch the over-cutting, I guess hoping that we wouldn't notice When pointed out to the company, they did attempt to make good on the patch-ups, and did offer a small credit on the costsAn inspection review of the installation done by the original salesperson confirmed our suspicions when he admitted that the installation crew probably didn't correctly read their instructions, and cut as if the less precise option had been chosenUnder these circumstances, the credit offered wasn't what we felt was a reasonable or fair solution, which would have been to credit us with the difference between the pricing quoted on the two different installation methodsThis would have resulted in a credit of approximately $2,rather than the $offered Aesthetically, the patch-ups look OK from a distance, but we're left with patchgaps between our original siding and our new windows instead of the two being butted up against each other, which is disappointing, not as durable as it should be, and not what we expected when we ordered the more expensive installation methodI'm also not completely convinced that the French door that was installed is as square and true as it should beThis is based upon my own observations, as well as the observations of other skilled and trusted tradespeople who were working on our home at the same time as this installation was performedThe company has been back to review this installation also, and maintains that all is as it should be, but I remain unconvinced We chose to pay the company in full so as not to give any reason to void the lifetime warranties that come with the product and the installationIf it wasn't for this factor, we would have taken different action

I am completely satisfied with the windows and the interactions I had with every one I contacted or spoke with at West Coast WindowsThe job ended up being done earlier than I first expected and that was a great benefitIt was nice having the crew at the house, they worked efficiently and cleanlyNo complaintsVery professional and courteousMy wife thinks the house relieves less noise from outside and that the house is keeping its heat betterI refinished the interior window frames and now they look really clean It was good value for the money Thanks so very much I think there must be something special that happens at West Coast because it takes real leadership to assemble a workforce that gets things done right, all along the wayYou all deserve to do well in your businessMay you prosper Best regards,

We ordered replacement windows and doors for our whole house, including a French door that the company buys in from a foreign manufacturer. After a review of the showroom examples of the different installation methodologies available, and discussion with a salesman, we chose the significantly more expensive installation method. We did this as we believed it would be more aesthetically pleasing, but also because our discussions with the salesperson confirmed that the more precise nature of the cutting necessary to remove our old windows under this method would result in the desired aesthetics, as well as a more long-lasting and durable solution.

Under these circumstances, the credit offered wasn't what we felt was a reasonable or fair solution, which would have been to credit us with the difference between the pricing quoted on the two different installation methods. This would have resulted in a credit of approximately $2,000 rather than the $500 offered.
Aesthetically, the patch-ups look OK from a distance, but we're left with patched-up gaps between our original siding and our new windows instead of the two being butted up against each other, which is disappointing, not as durable as it should be, and not what we expected when we ordered the more expensive installation method. I'm also not completely convinced that the French door that was installed is as square and true as it should be. This is based upon my own observations, as well as the observations of other skilled and trusted tradespeople who were working on our home at the same time as this installation was performed. The company has been back to review this installation also, and maintains that all is as it should be, but I remain unconvinced.
We chose to pay the company in full so as not to give any reason to void the lifetime warranties that come with the product and the installation. If it wasn't for this factor, we would have taken different action.

I am completely satisfied with the windows and the interactions I had with every one I contacted or spoke with at West Coast Windows. The job ended up being done earlier than I first expected and that was a great benefit. It was nice having the crew at the house, they worked efficiently and cleanly. No complaints. Very professional and courteous. My wife thinks the house relieves less noise from outside and that the house is keeping its heat better. I refinished the interior window frames and now they look really clean.
It was good value for the money.
