Unfortunately, I had the experience of going to this shopIt was one of the worst customer service experiences that I encountered for the past yearsI don't recommend and warn people to go to this placeThe owner was not upfront with the disclaimers and blamed the provided parts for the issue that was brought up without even examining the issue beforehandAll he had to do was to listen and examine before any responds to my concernWhat makes it even worse is the way he handled the criticismThe owner handled a simple issue/concern/question totally unprofessionally and not even close to a standard you expect from a business in this time and age

Unfortunately, I had the experience of going to this shop. It was one of the worst customer service experiences that I encountered for the past 15 years. I don't recommend and warn people to go to this place. The owner was not upfront with the disclaimers and blamed the provided parts for the issue that was brought up without even examining the issue beforehand. All he had to do was to listen and examine before any responds to my concern. What makes it even worse is the way he handled the criticism. The owner handled a simple issue/concern/question totally unprofessionally and not even close to a standard you expect from a business in this time and age.

Terrible folks to work with! very misleading and all they want is money, not solutions. These folks were very rude to my wife and told her she couldnt come in the shop bay to discuss her vehicle while children were running around in the shop area. Acted sexist. Very dissapointed as I paiid to have ac fixed and paid for it but I am still without air conditioniing

Review: the 12-18-13 I took my [redacted] to mechanic because it shut off every mile by it self and it s oil leaking he quote me $1300 to fix it . he gave me the list what s need to be done . I payed him $114 for that quote .I went to other mechanic call Adam Auto Works next to the one who gave me the quote , he told me that mechanic I went to is to expensive I can fix your car for only $787 . I left him the car 2 day later he called me saying the car is done come pick it up he came with me out side watching me turning on the car the car did not want to start I tryed again the car started he told me that is normal I drove it about 3 miles to my home I did not feel safe because I was going to michigan I rented car and I went to michigan leaving my car in parking lot .7 days later I came back found lot of leak under the car and it did not want to star I keep trying finally the car started then star leaking gas and oil in the same time it was not leaking gas before . I called him telling hime what s happening he says bring it back so I did drop the car of at his shop 3 hours later he called me the car is done but I have to pay him an other $80 I said why he says this is some thing else . so I did payed him $80 again .I was at work and he needs to close at 6 o'clock at 5:55 I picked it I drove it about a mile the car shut off again just before he closed I called him back telling him what s just happened he star yelling at me and telling me his not mechanic . I told him I payed you all this money and you did not fix my car . he said I am not mechanic I have to take to some body else . today my car still not fixed and I am riding with other people to go to work because I can t afford it renting car again. now I am asking all my money back and the money I rented the car for . thank you so muchDesired Settlement: I am asking all my money back because my car still not fixed I payed him 767+80+279 for renting car all is 1126 thank you so much

The details of this matter are as follows:

The vehicle presented was a 1989 [redacted]. Customer had visited another repair shop and had the vehicle diagnosed. When he came to our shop, he showed us the diagnostic report along with a quote from the other repair shop. The diagnostic report showed over 20 itemized items that needed to be replaced in order for the car to be in fair condition again. The quote the customer was given from the other repair shop was over S3000.00

We went over the diagnostic together and explained what needed to be done and gave the customer our quote. After our quote for full repair of all itemized items; he decided not to fix everything on his car. He authorized us to repair 7 items, which included rear brake pads, and transmission mount (which had no relation to his problem of vehicle turning off and the leaking), replaced hoses, and spark plugs. All of this work is still under warranty. This car has a major problem of Engine Head valve seals, and the idle air control valve motor and repair of such items can cost from $1800.00 - $2200,00, Customer was notified of the major problems (Engine Head valve seals, and the idle air control valve motor) and he did not want to fix the major issues that cause the vehicle to stop and leak. We proceeded to repair the items as we were authorized to do so from the customer. After repair had been performed, he picked up the car? test drove it before leaving and he was satisfied.

A week later, customer came back and had issue of gas leaking. We diagnosed the gas leak and gave him another quote which he agreed to. The gas leak had no relation to any prior work that we had done on the previous visit. The location of this gas leak on. this car was different from all work we had done in past.

Customer claims the vehicle still stops, the problem still exist because the customer refused to get the repair work done as it was recommend by us and another repair shop, which the customer still does not want to do.

All work that has been done on this vehicle with Adam Auto Works is under warranty, if there are any problems with our work done, customer is welcome to bring vehicle back.
