Review: I am writing in an effort to resolve an issue with the work that Adams Construction performed on my house last July 2012. Last year, this roofing company was hired to install a new roof on my house. The roof that was installed included a 50 year warranty on the shingles and workmanship. Unfortunately, several weeks ago, I discovered water leaking from my ceiling. In an effort to inquire about the issue, I contacted the company, via telephone on June 27, 2013 and left a message on their answering machine. However, they did not return my phone call. Therefore, I again called them on July 1, 2013 and left a second message on their answering machine, asking that they please return my call so that we could resolve the issue. Again, I did not receive a response.

Therefore, in an effort to have the roof repaired, I contacted my insurance company. The insurance company inspected the roof on July 5, 2013, and found that it was improperly installed. The inspector concluded that the leaks are occurring because step flashing was not installed between the roof and second floor dormers on both the front and back sides of the house. As a result, to fix the problem, the insurance company recommended the installation of step flashing.

I contacted several roofing contractors and received estimates for the repairs. The contractors stated that it would cost approximately $750 to complete the work and resolve the problem.Desired Settlement: After the problem has been fixed, I am seeking reimbursement for the cost of the repairs.
