We hired Adams D&R around 11/16/due to a leak in our kitchenThey gave us a completion date of December It is now March and our kitchen is still not fixed! During the beginning of the project, one of the contractors took out our cabinets and then and we did not see them for several weeks to complete the jobWe had a plethora contractors coming in and out of our home and not wearing foot covers and as a result, our carpet is very dirtyWeeks later someone from the company stated they can send out a temporary sink after causing us to suffer without water in the kitchen
Around 1/4/I spoke Edger GHe stated that he will call a meeting with the company staff and that he will also have the granite workers come back to fix the granite kitchen topsEdgar took pictures of the problemsOnce the workers came out we noticed the next day our ice maker was not producing ice because one of the granite worker(s) pushed the refrigerator to close to the wallOn 2/9/Edg

To whom this may concern; This job was finished 08/01/15, it began 05/26/the problem was not an insurance problem, the insurance adjuster responded immediately, and the funds were available and disbursed as soon as I received them, in which I have copies of inschecks along with personal check and bank statement, the real problem was having someone here long enough to finish to finish the job in a timely manner, no shows or leaving to go on another job, or sending employee to gostart another job, and no communication at all with the customer even after the customer attempts to communicate with the business office and contract workeralso I did indeed move up the chain in trying to get some one interested enough in me and my family's needson more than one occasions I was told that someone would be there on a certain day and no one would show upthis was a small sheet rock/paint job, 3-days at the most, feet of sheet rock along the one wall in the garage, the wash room, and a small closet plus two walls in the adjacent small bed room along with some base boards, we agreed not to replace the cabinets, and I believe that because it wasn't a large job I repeatedly got put on the back burnerAfter all this time, almost two months no one in this "Large Business" though about the carpet until they decided that they were doneA that time they sent a guy out to lay the carpet, and he came out with the impression that he was suppose to laythe old carpet in which they, themselves ripped out and hauled awayIt was not the carpet company's faultthey were given the wrong instructions from the beginning, and at that point they could not find the carpet locally, and there forth they had order itit took or days to get the carpet in, and on that Saturday morning August 01, the carpet company came out and installed the carpetAs I read the response to my complaint I found it to be illusivethere were inclusive and general statementsmade or given to what sometimes happens without taking owner ship of what they didn't do, or should have done" scape goat" there is no good reason why it took me from 05/26/until 08/01/to get done what was done!!! And NO I would never,ever used this company again, and NO I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone, and if I knew anyone that was considering using them I would definitely encourage them to go elsewhere

I had heard horror stories from some friends about a restoration company they usedSo I was hesitant to call Adams after having my plumber discover a leak that was spreading from my bathroom all the way into the bedroom next to IttHe assured me they would get the job done at a fair priceI called and they have someone out within minutes inspecting the damage! They explained that there was water damage and that I should file a claim with my insuranceI had never filed a claim with my insurance so they helped me call the adjuster and helped me with using the correct verbiage to ensure all damage was coveredThe crew that was there daily was respectful and professionalI received updates regularly about progress and the owner of the company was even at my adjuster meetingI couldn’t be more happy with the work these guys did

Adams provided outstanding work!!!! They were prompt, professional, reliable and trustworthyWhat I loved most was their customer service, they were always available and responsiveI had George's (the project managers) cell phone numberIf I ever had a question regarding the work being done or regarding the billing I knew that I could count on Shane and George to answer my questions immediately
The other thing that I thought was wonderful was that they took care of the entire job from start to finist was super helpful not having to work with multiple companiesGeorge arranged all of the specialty companies and coordinated everything for usThis really exceeded all levels of satisfactionIt allowed our days to continue as typical as they were before the floodGeorge really went above and beyond anyone elseHe helped us with additional items outside of his scope of work with no hesitation which was absolutely amazing
Overall I was extremely impressed with the quality of work that they providedWe highly recommend Adams and would most definitely use them again

I got in touch with Adams D&R due to a request I had submitted on Thumbtack for a repair/remodel job at my home that needed to be completed within a very short time frame so it could be ready just in time for my husbands 50th surprise birthday party I was hosting We initially had a contractor out at our home because of a flood that occurred a few weeks, and when it came time for repairs to start they kept dragging their feet so I fired them and decided to post a request on Thumbtack to see if I would have any luck on there, and turns out I did! Morgan, who I just have to say was the sweetest little thing, was my initial contact who scheduled her estimator, Ray, to come out to our home and look at the repairs and compare it to the estimate that the insurance had already created Turns out the insurance missed a few things but Ray was able to get the missed line items approved with in hours from my adjuster and get the repairs started the next day! Hugo and Jose were the workers that came out to repair my home, and they were just wonderful hard workers that did a spectacular job, they even helped me with a few miscellaneous smaller repairs at my home that were on my husbands "to do" list that is never ending which was so convenient! I couldn't be happier with the outcome and how quickly they were able to get everything done! I am really happy with the experience I had with this company and its really hard to find contractors that you can trust these days which, which is why I wanted to share my experience with others As soon as I can get my daughter to show me how to upload photos from my "smartphone" which is still foreign to me and probably always will be, I will post the before and after pictures so everyone can see how amazing the final repairs turned out

Adams came in to my house for an insurance job over months ago and they still haven't finished the job I have had to file a complaint with the ROC and since then they have been back here to fix all of their issues in doing so they have made my home even worse than it was before I have dealt with them for over months the stress alone is enough to kill someone I have been lied to overcharged and I still don't have my kitchen back after attempts of making it right in my opinion this business has absolutely no reason to exist judging from the number of complaints filed against them absolutely no one should use them and I am very sorry that I did with that being said my home is in complete disrepair with no end in sight like I said before it has been over months since this began

I wanted to write a review about Adams D&R because I had a wonderful experience with them They were extremely helpful when I had a water heater leak in my garage that ran into the inside of my home while I was out of town for the Fourth of July weekend The damages were pretty major, however the Adams team were able to dry out and rebuild the affected areas quickly as I was needing my home to be back to prior to my parents 35th wedding anniversary party I was hosting at my home this weekend The final touches got completed yesterday and I could not be more happy with the outcome! I did not have to pay a single dollar out of my pocket (besides my deductible) as Adams was able to get my insurance to cover everything that was needed to get my home back to pre loss condition I will use Adams again if I ever have any water damage or if there is any remodeling I am wanting to do to my home

On September 23rd a hotwater leak was discovered under the kitchen island and foundationThe restoration company came out the next day and tore my island apart which included cracking my granite countertop and leaving me without a kitchen sinking dishwasher
I had to contact the company every time to try and see that the next step wasOn October 19th to see when there were coming out to put my kitchen back togetherI was told I needed to sign a contract before that happenedI explained there were things I wanted different then what insurance company sent a check forAgain I was told tiger needed to collect $and for me to sign the contract before they would come to the houseI paid the money and set appointment for 10/I got a phone call that day saying Sonya needed to cancelI complained and the owner showed up that day and took cabinet faces and sample of graniteI also explained what I wanted doneNext day cabinet guy showed up and took measurements

ADAMS DISASTER AND RESTORATION scrammed me with un-authorized placing of additional equipments without approval after my property was already dried and charged me after hours services call and extra equipment cost My tenants did not know their DIRTY PRACTICE and let them placed that extra equipment in the property The staff at Adams D&R - Morgan D*** and their owner *** lied about the bill and promised to give me Paid in Full receipt and after they took my money and my insurance check, the receipt was never delivered I had been harassed by their collection phone calls PLEASE DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS ADAM DISASTER AND RESTORATION Bunch of *** and ***

This company did a great job once they finished the workIt looks greatThe men who did the work made it look like nothing had ever happenedYou would never have known that all the damage had taken placeI was so afraid it would look bad and you would see the lines in the wall where they were cut but you can't see anythingEverything looks great and the men made sure that I was happy with the workThey were very nice, and professionalI would recommend this company to anyone I am very happy with the end product

I have a great experience with Adams Disaster & RestorationI had some water damage in bathroom the other day when I got home from work, I didn't know what the cause was, but I did know that it was coming from my toilet somehowIt turns out that when I got new toilets at my home about a year ago, the plumber I hired to install them, which I choose to keep anonymous, never set wax rings, per the plumbing company I called to come out to my property after I discovered the water damage, *** ***, they were great as wellAdams came out to my property at a pretty late hour, which I was pretty impressed with, the tech Alex was very knowledgable, as well as the rest of the techs that came to my property for the monitors, and they were very helpful and honestWe decided not to go through the insurance, due to the damage being rather minimal, and a lot of the water from the toilet happened to be on just the tile mainly, so therefor it wasn't necessary for me to file a claim, so they gave me a pretty reasonable cash price, they also worked with me in regards to my bill, and gave me the option of making payment plans witch was very helpful

I recently bought my home and one day after taking a shower in the upstairs bathroom I went into my downstair bedroom and noticed some water dripping from the ceilingI called my home warranty company and they sent out two really shady guysThe warranty guys were clueless and really not helpful at all - basically they told me that it's probably not the drain and that is all they would coverI was about to throw them out when they recommended Adams D&R
Two guys from Adams showed up like minutes later and compared to the home warranty guys they were a breath of fresh airThe Adams guys were well-dressed and professional, they used some high-tech gear to look through the walls and see where the water was leakingThey wrote up a professional quote and laid out everything for me and they even contacted my insurance company to help me submit a claim
In the end, my insurance company denied my claim so I didn't have any work done, but my shower is still broken - fortunately, I have two other bathrooms! ;)
I'm low on funds because of a recent home purchase, but when I have the funds...I'll call Adams to get the work done because I feel confident that they would get the job done *right* and *fast* and when you have water damage you want the repairs done correctly or you'll just end up in the same situation again
