This company did a great job once they finished the workIt looks greatThe men who did the work made it look like nothing had ever happenedYou would never have known that all the damage had taken placeI was so afraid it would look bad and you would see the lines in the wall where they were cut but you can't see anythingEverything looks great and the men made sure that I was happy with the workThey were very nice, and professionalI would recommend this company to anyone I am very happy with the end product

I had a leak in one a copper pipe in my second floor bathroomWe were out of town for the week and mold began to grow inside the floor and wallsThankfully a friend had had a good experience with Adams and recommended themThey did an awesome job! The communicated daily and got our bathroom put back together in no timeThey handled our insurance for us and got us all the money we needed to put our home back together!!

Water damage is never fun to deal with but these guys made it a much more tolerable experienceFirst of all, Shane (the owner) is fantastic to work withHe was super responsive and made sure everything was handled meticulouslyI was concerned about my house being torn up but everything was super tidyFrom the way the paper was taped down to the way my belongings were boxed and stored was perfectionAlso, with the drywall removal, I was concerned about dust and potential allergens with my young child so Sean brought in an additional HEPA filter as an added layer of protectionWhen his team came back to take down and remove everything, my home was left spotlessI cannot say enough good things about Shane and his teamTheir service and follow through was top notchThank you, Shane!!

In October we had a leak inside of our wall that caused damage to our drywallWe called Adams D&R because my plumber recommended themThe first part of the job which was *** went well and repairs were completed
We ran into a problem with part two of the job which was replacing damaged cabinets in the garage that had to be ripped out to repair the leak which was located behind the hot water heater
We received a check for part two of the work based on a supplemental that Adam's submitted to the insurance company *** in the amount of $***, check date was 11/18/Adams quickly collected the checkWe asked for a change in the design of the replacement cabinets which we were told was completely doable by the Adams estimaterThe change involved asking for cabinets that were inches wider in depth and going with less costly industrial shelving on the other side of the garage instead of a second set of cabinets that had been removedThe reasoning was to put th

I used Adams Restoration when I had water damage in my home and they did a great job I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others

Been trying to get a new bathroom done in my homeWork started on it on March 19, Today is May 2, and it is not yet doneI am writing today because after waiting almost a week for an appointment for them to come out and work on ;my bathroom and got a call just now saying that another job came up so they are cancelling tomorrows work day on my house
To top it all off on the phone just now the girl on the phone called me "sir" on the phone timesWhen I am upset, I know my voice deepens, but I corrected the girl twice that I was the lady of the house and she just said, "yes sir, I understand" and continued with sir
I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy

I wanted to write a review about Adams D&R because I had a wonderful experience with them They were extremely helpful when I had a water heater leak in my garage that ran into the inside of my home while I was out of town for the Fourth of July weekend The damages were pretty major, however the Adams team were able to dry out and rebuild the affected areas quickly as I was needing my home to be back to prior to my parents 35th wedding anniversary party I was hosting at my home this weekend The final touches got completed yesterday and I could not be more happy with the outcome! I did not have to pay a single dollar out of my pocket (besides my deductible) as Adams was able to get my insurance to cover everything that was needed to get my home back to pre loss condition I will use Adams again if I ever have any water damage or if there is any remodeling I am wanting to do to my home

I want to start off by saying I personally have been in management and customer service for 5+ years, therefore it took a lot in me to write this as I like to be as understanding as I possibly can with businesses who work to serve their customersIn this instance, this company did not do their due diligence to serve their customerI signed a contract with Adams to do my restoration after I was practically forced into itThey completed my mitigation, but then they overcharged my boyfriend's card by $when he went into their office to payAfter discussing this with the owner, we decided that instead of refunding me, they would use the extra $toward the deposit on restorationI did not want to do use them, but it was easier than arguing with themI then asked for them to come in and do a restoration estimateThey told me I needed to put down 70% of the total amount I received from insurance for them to do this (roughly $was my insurance check) I made the mistake of

On January 19, 2017, our renter, *** *** at *** * *** *** first contacted my husband She informed us that she had a major water leak in the kitchen under the sink She told us that she called Champion Plumbing and Rooter CompanyMichael Fimbres did most of the plumbing repairsOn our third visit to the residence, an Adams D&R truck was on-premiseA gentleman introduce himself as Shane and then handed me a business cardI didn’t notice until later that the card was a general card for the business and had the title Mitigation Technician On 1/21/2017, *** Restoration Service came in and said they had to run an asbestos and lead test before any work could be done Not sure why they showed up since I hadn't authorized anyone to complete repairs at this point The tests both came back negative by J R*** Lead Environmental Tester We called our insurance company *** Mutual, on 1/23/2017, since the problem seemed be bigger than we originally th

I cannot begin to state how unprofessional this company wasI do not have enough time to list all of the things they have doneI am just going to list the most importantThis company set us up with two employees that during the course of the estimate, both were suspended/firedThis was due to missing appointments, not returning calls, one man even during his suspension recommended a different company to do the work instead of AdamsThen an hour later he was "unsuspended" and tried to continue with the contract for Adams....I contacted the owner, and you would think working with the owner directly would make things smoother, but he played dumb or literally did not know what was going on with his employees/his customers situationThis was the last straw and we declined to do business with AdamsIt has been two weeks since then and in that time I have been harassed with phone calls from multiple people, and emails trying to get me to come back to do business with themThey are sending me emails with contracts for me to sign over and overI called them, I emailed them and still this occursThis company is not organized, it took two months to get an estimate put together only for us to fire them..Only now is my house getting the care it needsIf I had the option to provide a negative -rating....I would Do not trust this company

I was struggling to find a professional and responsive company until I contacted Adams Restoration
Shane was exceptional as he walked me through the exact process and I could always get him on phone, which is surprising because he is the ownerVery Responsive!!!!!
The Crew did an amazing job of setting up containment only where it is needed and they were very empathetic towards any inconvenience that may have been caused In fact, they went out of their way to ensure that we have a working kitchen before the weekend because we have kids
It is without any hesitancy that I recommend these guys to family, friends and others who ask
Job well done!! Thank you Shane and crew!!

These guys were called out for a water softener leak and started doing the work without my approvalThey tricked me into signing paperwork to complete the work with a quote that had not been agreed upon yet and just kept telling me they would adjust the amount when the quote came inVince (did the quote) came out to meet my *** adjuster, they both agreed on the amount, but Vince never sent his quote to the ***The *** used their own quote for the payout that was lower than Adam's D&RFrom the beginning Adam's took $off due to their mistakes, admittedlyThey have had to come out and fix the shoddy workmanship, again admittedlyAndre calls me and has threatened to report to the *** *** when it had only been a few days and were not done fixing their issues yet, has yelled at me, hung up on me, all while I've tried to explain their misdoingsdifferent Marks work there One told me there was nothing more to do and I was all setThen he disappea

Insurance water damage claimBusiness billed incorrect hours/scope of work to insurance company and Insurance company then negociated the amount owedThis was settled and agreed upon by insurance company and Adams D&RInsurance paid full sum to Homeowner (Fendell) who acted as General Contractor and oversaw all workAdams D&R failed to show as promised, twice, to perform work (remove flooring) and Fendell had to spend several hours managing this particular trade (water mitigation) and this justifies Overhead and Profit to be retained by FendellAdams D&R billed for dry out work with Overhead and Profit going to Adams D&R - Fendell retained this O&P as he was acting GC overseeing the trade of dryoutAdams accepted this payment and cashed checkTHEN LATER Adams D&R issues Accounts Receivable invoice of Absestos testing - which was paid in full by personal check at the onset of the testing

Adams D and R has been a great company to work with Shane helped us work through all of our restoration needs and went above and beyond with his team to provide some good customer service
At times the restoration was a pain and having a renter in the house made it that much harder Adams helped us work through all the issues and try to make the restoration process as easy as possible

I used Adams Restoration when I had water damage in my home and they did a great job I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others

These guys have been at my house from day one when we returned home at the end of the day to soaking rugs and about an inch of water all over our first floorWe had just put knew wood floors in so I was devastatedA part of our piping fixture under our kitchen sink burst and water sprayed for I don't know how longIt could have happened that morning or only an hour before we got homeRegardless the damage had been doneI called my brother who was a plumber and asked him for advice and he told me I would need a restoration companyI went online found Adams and gave them a call it was 8pm and they answered and had someone out there in MINUTES! I was shocked they got there so quicklyThey were so sympathetic to my situation even though they deal with this everydayThey explained since it was sudden loss it would be covered by my insuranceSo he even stayed and helped me a file a claim and was back at my house the next day when the insurance adjuster showed upThis company goes above and beyond and made such a stressful situation betterAfter we got our first check from insurance which I realized immediately would not cover everything; the owner Shane called our insurance and went to bat for us and got us more supplemented fundsThe dried our house and put everything back together so quicklyGod forbid this ever happens again but if it does we know who we are callimg!!

I am responding to complaint ***First thing I want to say is, I am so sorry for all of the medical problems Ms*** is havingThere are a lot of people going through medical problems and it is sadWe try to work as fast as we can to help people in need and work around their schedule
Sometimes it is out of our handsIt depends on the customer, insurance, dry out time, testing, etcWe did not just leave Ms*** hangingSome of the time depends on her availability and InsuranceHer recon/repairs is totally different than what we didWe did not do her recon or repairsThe customer can go with their choice for recon.Another thing that needs to be cleared up is what actually the p***ess wasThis was not a repair /recon jobThis was a water mitigation that was doneWater mitigation is usually done before any recon is doneIt is extremely important to respond to a job asap the sooner the mitigation starts the more money the homeowner or insurance savesThe sooner we start the dry out the better it is for the customerIt only takes to hours for mold to set inOnce the dry out is started if done in time will prevent moldMold is only covered by a couple of Insurance Companies and most will deny any claim with moldOnce the dry out starts there will be no mold if we are allowed to do our jobWe did the water mitigation dry out for Ms***We did not do her recon or repairs.Once the dry out is done, then we send a superintendent to walk the job and do a scope of work***, is who we sent to walk the job a,nd write a scope*** did not lie to Ms*** or the insuranceWe have to wait for an approval or scope to go by from the insurance*** may have tried to get certain things covered that the insurance said no toWe always get approval from the Insurance so that our customers or we do not have to pay for things they will not coverSome customers want to do upgrades and that is out of the customer's pocketIn this case, Ms*** stated she did not have the money and wanted to keep some of the moneyShe stated to several people in our office that she did not have much money and wanted to keep as much as she couldThere really is no money to keep with water mitigationWe bill the Insurance direct when we do water mitigation unless the customer is paying out of pocketMs*** went through her lnsurance she did not have the money to payout of pocketWe use a program that most of the Insurances use to bill once we are doneWe use this program so that the pricing is set by the Insurance and not usThis is done to protect our customers and usWe did the water mitigation for Ms*** and submitted our invoice to the InsuranceThe Insurance then reviews the invoice and approves it or if there are questions will call usIn this case the Insurance approved the invoice and paid Ms*** to pay us for our servicesThe problem is that Ms*** has not paid usShe wants to pay us even though her Insurance covered our invoice and paid the total of 2,55O.77, our invoice amountMs***, decided to have a handyman come in and give her an estimate for repairs and wants to pay us according to his estimateThe problem is he is a handyman he did not do the water mitigation that we are specialized inThe handyman has no say in the water mitigationThe amount of the water mitigation that the Insurance approved is what we are dueAgain, Ms*** can choose who she wants for repairsShe informed us that on December 23, she got a handymanOn December 22, the Insurance paid Ms*** for our invoiceWe thought that she was going with the handyman since she told us that she had gotten someoneWe do not go by a handymans estimate ..we go by InsuranceSince Ms*** had stated that she only wanted to pay as good faith for the water mitigation and see what her handyman thought it was worth was not negotiona, bleWe knew that if she was not going to pay what the Insurance approved to pay us for the water mitigation that was owed us, that most likely we would not get paid for repairsSince she had gotten a handyman we felt that is who she was going withWe considered our job doneMs*** also states that we left her with a tub that leaksThis was not a tub in a bathroom this is a temporary sinkWe gave her a temporary sink to use because she would not have had a sinkHer Insurance did not cover putting her in a hotelThe temporary sink was all that we could do at this pointThe Insurance made that decision, not usI am sorry that it was so hard for her to useI wish it had been easier for her, but that was not our decisionShe may be able to go back to her Insurance and turn in receipts for eating outMs*** is blaming us for a lot of things that aren't our faultWe did not cause the leak that caused this problem in the beginningWe tried to do the best that we could for herWe did not make the decision to not do her recon she decided on a handymanWe would not have done her recon unless she paid so much up front since she would not even pay us for the water mitigation that the Insurance paid in fullI am sorry for Ms***s medical problem, misunderstanding of water mitigationI honestly feel that since Ms*** was paid in full for our services that she needed the money and spent itMs*** has said she would go to the *** over our contract*** is for reconstruction not water mitigationOur contracts have been approved by our attorney for the water mitigation and the *** for reconstructionAdams Disaster & Restoration has been in business for several years and have a good ratingWe have a lot of customer that use us because we invoice with prices set by the insurance and take care of themWe are extremely busy and value our customersWhat is sad, is when there are customers who want work done and don't want to payor pocket the moneyWe unfortunately have this happenMs*** was paid in full for our water mitigation from the Insurance to pay usWe expect to be paid for the services she was paid to pay us for.Again, I am so sorry for her health issues and wish her the bestShe is welcome to contact me at any time.Regards,***
