Used frank for a wedding.Returned unopened alcohol and based on contract should get refund to original payment except for in cases on of see below
...except in the following circumstances in which case the credit will take the form of a Franks Wine Gift Card credit for the total amount of the refund: significant increases (without corresponding reductions) to the recommended quantities listed in Frank's Wines’ initial proposal in response to information submitted by client
Frank then noted that "Your net increases to the proposal included spirits, cases of beer and bottles of wine."
No where in the ordinal contract did it say net totals or net increases only increases in recommends quantities, and in some instances we did not order any more than requestedHE only gave us gift carDid not honor contract
We purchased liquor for our wedding through this business and we gave our credit card information for a deposit and we said that we would pay for the liquor once we had our final guest count which we did not have this information yet The owner ***, proceeded to charge our credit card on file for his estimate based on an estimated count of that we said is not the final count when we paid the deposit because we had not received RSVP's back yet He disregarded this and still charged our card Our final guest count was And *** said he would refund our card the difference of in November which also included some changes to our order because he selected all dry wines even though I told him that my themed drinks are sangria's and we had requested more of them but less were shown on our order He corrected this but we are still waiting for a refund for that We are still waiting to receive this We were since married on January 2, and returned all unopened
We went to Frank's Wine for a tasting to figure out which wine we would be purchasing from them for our wedding on a recommendation from a friendThe tasting went greatThe employee was fantastic, friendly and helped us out tremendouslyWhen it came time to dealing with Frank, that is when things became very suspicious
There were multiple emails exchanged to fix issues that cropped up in each subsequent emailFirst, the price and quantity we discussed at our tasting was completely differentWhile the price was then adjusted, the next issue was when we were told the wine that we put a $deposit down for was not going to be availableFollowing that email, there was an untrustworthy feeling coming from each follemailSomehow the 15% quantity discount we were promised in the initial email had disappearedWhen we inquired about this, we were met with sarcasm, rudeness and a very abrupt answer
After waiting a few days for a response (Frank blamed this on my spam fold
