goods were collected by [redacted] on December 23rd. Unfortunately, we were not aware that they had misread the telephone number on our Bill of Lading and they therefore were unable to contact the customer until 1/4/16. At that time, they left messages on two numbers they called. The [redacted] website confirms that on the same day (1/4/16), the delivery date of 1/14/16 was confirmed with Mr. [redacted]'s wife, [redacted]. It also shows that on the date Mr. [redacted] filed this complaint, Jesse had spoken to [redacted] and agreed that Adams would pay half of the shipping cost as compensation for the delay in production. Mrs. [redacted] was aware that we had agreed to this and she were also aware that the furniture had already been collected from us and a delivery date had been confirmed.Mr. [redacted]'s comment about a refund if the complaint is not resolved before the furniture is shipped is therefore a little puzzling.

The table and chairs have now been delivered, however, the issue at hand was not addressed by the Adams Furniture in their response.
The original sale order paperwork states that delivery forecast is 4-6 weeks. After the fourth week and into the fifth we had never heard from Adams so therefore we contacted them and were told all was well and it will be arriving the following week. A week passed and we called again and were told that it would arrive the following week. After the third time this happened we began to ask to speak with management. The response was to take a message and they will call back. We never received a phone call. We called at least once every week, messages were left every time and no call was returned. Also, we were always told it was shipping and arriving the following week. This was obviously a lie as we were informed this even before the product was completed.
In their own response they stated the good were collected by [redacted] on December 23, 2015, however, the delivery forecast date was initially November 2, 2015. Then, after the first call, it was November 9, 2015, which changed to November 16, 2015, which changed to November 23, 2016, etc.
Number one, it would have been prudent for Adams to be truthful from the beginning. Number two, it would have been good business for Adams to return phone calls when stated they would. And number three, it would have also been prudent for Adams to contact us once [redacted] had picked up the product. We did in fact find out [redacted] picked it up, however, it was due to the fact that we called Adams, as we did weekly. Adams then stated it was out of their hands, they have no idea on delivery but was certain it would be the next week (it was not, again) and passed the buck to [redacted]. When asked to speak with the owner of Adams another message was taken, and to this date, no phone call was ever returned.
