[A physical price list was mailed? I do not recall ever getting one. It's funny that you referenced our tenure as an Adams Distributor. You would think that after more than 50 years, Adams would be a little more amenable and would understand a situation that dictates an extenuating circumstance. But no, you have been unwilling to help and refuse to move off of this ridiculous restock fee. Thank you.  ]

One of the most recent the stated that the burner was not damaged. item came damaged.The information on the Website is over ten years old current literature has been updated to show that this burner is shipped with 1" gas valve.The burner will operate at full...

rated capacity with 1" gas valve.  Shipping weight is now less as these burners are foamed in to the carton for extra protection and are no longer shipped on a skid that weighs 15-20 pounds.In the numerous emails that were sent to this customer we continually asked why the customer insisted on a larger pipe size on the valve that was not necessary.They never did let us know! It may be because they were going to fire the burner at a rate that was more than  specified capacity on the burner rating plate and this could be dangerous.We have sent an RGA to the customer to return the burner to us for a credit.ADAMS Manufacturing Co.

I am so very sorry that this customer has encountered this problem!However, this unit was properly sealed at the factory, as it operated properly for several months before developing a leak.We are not sure what occurred during operation do develop the leak.The unit could have been repaired by simply...

tightening a bolt that had loosened up and putting a little silicone on the bolt before tightening.The Limited warranty on this product only covers replacement of parts that prove to be defective within one year.This repair did not require any parts.The warranty does not cover any labor whatsoever or the complete replacement of the humidifier.I am the President of the corporation and certainly would have returned her call, if I had received a message.Regretfully we will not be reimbursing this customer for labor to repair this unit.During the 73 years that we have been in business we have always honored our commitments and warranties!

The company was untruthful in its statement that the unit operated correctly for months. We received the unit in December 2017, and it started leaking in February 2018- about 8 weeks later-not months! We have the invoice and written confirmation of all dates. It was not sealed properly at the factory!  Additionally the repair was substantially more than tightening a bolt and adding a little silicon. The leak was in a place that required the unit to be taken apart-where the heating element went into the water tank-in order to add silicon where necessary. Further, the President of this company should remember whether or not he was at a car show in Cleveland in February. That is what I was told when I called the company. Either his employee was also not truthful or failed to give him the message. Either way, that is an internal problem for him to deal with.

This is being described as a consumer complaint.The complaintant is not a consumer but a wholesaler that resells this product to a contractor that in turn sells and installs the equipment.We have issued a refund as outlined in the return details of the price booklet that is mailed to them annually.Thanks for letting us clear this matter up.
