I wish I could leave a review specifically about two individuals, not the entire company. This review is about the branch in Katy, TX, and specifically about Matthew and Mike. The moving crew that picked up, as well as dropped off, were WONDERFUL!! They were very accommodating and supplied additional packaging materials for us when we found out that all of the tvs and lamps had to be in boxes for them to transport them. This is something Matthew NEVER explained to us. Finding this out the day they came, especially having 6 flat screens and 12 lamps was upsetting. I would think that the person in charge of the account would have explained this to us. Matthew was very much on top of things prior to receiving payment from us. However, after we made the initial deposit, he was not as responsive as he previously had been. Matthew also did not explain to us that if we were going to use a credit card for the remaining balance it had to be paid 10 days in advance. Again, upsetting… His manager, Mike, explained this to us the evening before the crew came. Using cash was not an issue for us, thank goodness, but it would have been nice to know in advance. A 14 hour notice isn’t exactly what I would call acceptable. It created additional stress that could have been avoided had we known we had to pay with a cashier’s check and not a card. I would have to say that Mike is one of the most unprofessional individuals I have ever done business with. We could not get a straight answer from him about when the movers would arrive, and on the scheduled day they actually did not show. We didn’t receive any correspondence throughout the day. It was basically a stressful waiting game for us. We continued to call Mike for assistance because Matthew would no longer return our calls or respond to emails. Mike finally texted and said he can’t do anything for us and to not call him again. He said we had to call customer service for any additional help regarding our move. Mike… just a word of advice… That’s not called customer service. I can assure we wouldn’t have had to call you so many times if you actually knew what you were doing. Hopefully the company will provide you with additional training, especially in the area of CUSTOMER SERVICE. We did receive all of our belongings quickly, so that is something positive. Again, the moving crew on both ends of the move were great!! It was the drama we had to encounter on the account and business end of the move. If we went back in time and had to set this move up all over again, we would NOT use Adam’s Moving. Paying more for a more reputable company would have been worth it in the end. So, this is my review. I strongly urge anyone reading reviews to select a moving company to NOT use this company. If you do, make sure you understand everything on the front end because they are not exactly forthcoming with information.

I signed a contract on 9/30 saying that I’ll pay 1929 in total. However, customer service and the foreman is saying that I actually signed 1980.

Greetings,Services for this customer were completed this past Saturday. We did not add any additional fees for the move other then the long carry fee at delivery due to no access for the 53’ semi truck. We have given detailed explanations to the customer what the charge is for. We hope the customer is understanding of the fees for the services provided. We appreciate the business!

I am rejecting this response because: the movers LIED about using the main entrance. I’ve attached a picture of the entrance they used. This entrance is 92 feet away from my front door. The long carry fee is free, per their contract the first 100 feet are free. They hire scammers. They didn’t build a table, which is the service I paid for. And they left items that belong to someone else. I’m tired of the lies!!! I want my money back NOW!

Greetings,After carefully reviewing the situation, the semitruck parked outside the main entrance to the complex building due to limited access, the driver communicated the additional fees to the customer prior to the delivery, they agreed to it. The movers had to unload the items and carry them into the apartment more than 600 ft. We try to avoid this at all cost since our drivers are under a tight schedule and it is more time consuming and more labor is involved, however, at times our highly experienced drivers are not able to access certain locations due to narrow streets, restricted/limited access, and other reasons uncounted for, such as, low trees or low electric lines that do not allow the semi-truck to maneuver properly. Our contract stipulates that "First 100 feet-no charge, every additional 100 feet an extra charge of $75.00."As for the 3 items that were delivered to the customer by mistake, we will have them picked up in the next 1-2 weeks so we can deliver them to the right client. We would also like to offer the customer as a gesture of good faith a refund for $50 because the driver failed to complete the assembly of the desk. We hope that this give a better understanding of what took place at the delivery. All the Best!

I am rejecting this response because: the drivers did NOT use the main entrance!! I attached pictures last time. Why do you keep ignoring my pictures?? They used the STEVE REYNOLDS entrance. Use GOOGLE MAPS. I CANT EVEN LIE IF I WANTED TO. THE PICTURES ANS SEAECH ENGINE WILL QUICKLY TELL YOU THIS. IT IS 92 FT, no 600 ft. You are scammers. I NEED A VIDEO CHAT SO I CAN SHOW YOU FROM THE ENTRANCE OF MY APT TO THE ENTRANCE THEY USED!!!!! Stop lying!! It doesn’t even makes sense. Stop saying they used the main entrance when the pictures and map show you that there is a second entrance/used the second entrance on STEVE REYNOLDS. They used the Steve Reynolds entrance!!!! How many times I have to repeat that?! It’s because y’all are scammers. Stealing $400 in the middle of a pandemic. May God multiply what you have done to us. Do a video chat and you can see what I’m talking about. Because apparently pictures aren’t obvious enough. May you never deal with scammers like I have with you.

Tried to write down my whole nightmare, cluster... of an experience, but they won't allow enough space. It's bad! These are brokers that don't care. Once you sign the dotted line the service will drop off completely. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing or saying. If you deal with a sales rep whose name is close the company name, be forewarned. Truck that arrived was too small and we are ending up with having to rent a *** as well to get our stuff across country. And all that wrapping, that was so highly touted when things go into storage, cost over an additional 1K. ONLY the blankets are free! They use miles of tape (and they leave a lot on the roll before starting another, shrink wrap and additional boxes. There is no way these reviews are real on here. I called many times and asked many questions and pretty much nothing was as I was told. No video walk through inventory was offered. People I dealt with were Adam, Lilly, Belle and Alyssa. We will see how delivery goes. I already have talked to my lawyer, who I also had referred here. Dumb move on my part... or maybe genius? He's having similar experience and we are comparing notes. The people that did the labor were wonderful and tried very hard to make a *** situation better. The fault is not on their part at all. Only because of them do I have hope that my stuff will arrive in somewhat of a decent condition.

Great service! They are professionals and have a very good attitude. They all are very polite and respectful. The head made sure that everything will be safe and had done everything safely and cleared all our difficulties. They are the best movers. I would like to thank them for amazing services. Highly recommended!

My husband and I did most of our packing and estimated our own inventory. We booked Adam's Moving for the move only. We were still packing up the last few things we were intending to take in our car on the drive down when the movers arrived. They helped me to pack and didn’t charge me any extra penny. I am impressed. They are just the best.

I don't intend to move soon, but I'm calling no one but Adam's Moving when I do. I had to move with them 3 times and every time it was great to move with them. The movers are professional and friendly. I am glad I booked them.

By far one of the best moving services out there. The entire gentleman in our moving team worked well for 3 hours yesterday. They took great pride in moving and loading out everything on the truck. The prices were fair and they respond very quickly to our move. I would recommend this company. Nothing but great things to say for all of them.

I am so happy and proud that we chose Adam's Moving. Nothing went missing, got damaged or even scratched. Our move was important to them and it left us with a feeling of being secure. Adam's Moving provided service was outstanding for my first cross country move. The price quote was within my means to afford to keep my belongings and furniture. The service was great and up to mark. I f I will ever decide to move, they will be my choice for sure.

The Adam's Moving makes me feel calm and easy about my luggage and all other antique furniture. They professionally wrapped all the furniture. What I really liked is that they had a checklist of everything they picked up and the condition of each item. I would highly recommend Adam's Moving to anyone looking around for a mover.

I moved from my parents’ house to my new apartment in other country last month and have nothing but great things to say about the experience with my first ever moving company. The Adam's Moving were best beyond my expectations. I was quoted pretty low for the move and I didn't pay a penny more! They were friendly and took great care of my possessions. Thank you.

Accountably, the Adam's Moving were on time. The workers were super delightful. I am happy I choose this company for my move recently, I was originally considering on renting a truck and doing the move myself but after I did the numbers I decided to just get some bids on Movers. He even helped us ship our car at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

No one likes this moving company. These guys made my experience bearable. They were super quick, efficient and really hard working. They packed my truck, and when I got to my destination, they even helped me with the setting of house. They are fast and trustworthy, what we agreed on is what I paid. Highly recommend.

AVOID!!! Horrible interstate mover that scams you to think you are dealing with a Pacific Northwest area local mover and said they were NOT a broker. Go by Adam's Moving and Storage when you search that name in Google you see the local mover with great reviews.
Sales team will make promises that are overwritten by their dispatch team and fine print in the contract. Their sales team said delivery date of 12/27 or 12/28 was marked in system and dispatch said not there when I called 12/23 to confirm. Told then it would ship 12/26 (after Christmas) to be lied to again! Now being told allowed up to 30 days from when 1st date requested (12/27) and keep saying later and later dates! My furniture was picked up 12/4 in Seattle and I'll be lucky to receive by the end of January!! Horrible customer service and SALES teams ghosts you after you are picked up. They'll blow up your phone to get your business then disappear leaving you to fight with some dispatch department and pray to receive your furniture.

Had the privilege to use these movers as recommended by friend. I am really astonished with their way of packing, controlling things and doing everything. They made the move easiest for us. Really happy and satisfied. Highly recommended.

We had a difficult move involving crossing state lines and with multiple destinations. The Adam's Moving was easy to work with on relatively short notice, both in terms of getting the move set up and executing it. The movers were friendly and professional and got our move accomplished without a hitch. I would use their services again and recommend them.

I was amazed by the professionalism of Adam's Moving. They gave me heads up call before coming. They shifted us from 3 floor walk up to house in ***, NJ. Antiques and other items were safely delivered to new place. I am happy with their service.

Certainly a very good service. I’m extremely picky about the quality. They have been timely, effective, fast, and hard-working. Pleased with the service. If you want a professional moving company with a good attitude for movers. That's the way to go!
