Adams Towing

To whom it may concern,
Mr***'s vehicle was impounded by order of Jacksonville Sheriff's office. The authorized charges for the impounding of the vehicle totaled $2,277.36. Since the owner of the vehicle abandoned the vehicle it was auctioned off and sold for $which is deducted from the amount owed. As per Florida law, we are only able to place a lien for certain fees and up to days storage which amounted to $but the vehicle owner is still responsible for the entire balance. The breakdown is as follows: $2,- $(sale price of vehicle) = 1,777.36. Therefore after the owner pays the lien, $346.16, the lien is removed but the remaining amount, $1,is still owed and was sent to collections
I sincerely hope that this clears up the matter and better explains the reason for the charges and how it is broken down

This company performed service on my truck in the amount of approxomately $4,They clearly installed one of the parts incorrectly which causednit to crack and the fule to spray approximately gallons of fuel all over the engine compartment which ultimately caused my vehicle to catch fireEnding in a total lossUnbiased company did a valuation on my vehice and it came to over $33,plus at this point over $8,loss in contractually proven losses based off their bad service

Ms*** called *** because she was broke down 9pm friday Nov as attached in the call notes, she was crying had no spare and the employee that went out asked that the Mgr stay after hours to rent this member a carShe agreed to have her car towed to Adams Auto and she would come back the
following day and pick up the vehicle once repairs were made. Ms*** was disoriented when appeared in our office said she had been traveling to see a new grandbaby and just needed to get homeWe did paperwork attached and printed out directions for her in our office so that she could get homeWe even followed her to interstate to ensure she got headed in right direction. Ms*** was called the next morning from Adams Auto and approved the repairs to be done *attached receipt* and was told she could pick up her car anytime before 2pm that day Ms*** later phoned Adams Auto and asked if she could pick up her car and return the rental a little later that day and authorized and provided Adams Auto with her credit card number over the phoneShe was asked to return the rental where she rented the vehicle @ Belmont St Burlington NC and that someone would assist her in getting her down the road miles to pick up her car at Adams Auto E Webb AveMs*** agreed. Later that day, Our shift mgr noticed her park the rental car at Adams Auto via our camera system (closed at this time) get in her car and leaveShe left our rental car unlocked, keys in it and did not follow instructions for the rental vehicle to be returned to the rental officeWithin min, Mgr went to Adams Auto to get the rental vehicle and noticed it had been wreckedWe called Ms*** that afternoon and continued to call her for the next hours straight (calling her cell phone) when she finally answeredShe was asked about the damage to the car, her reply to me directly was that she had backed into something and she knew she needed to pay for itWe sent her a copy of the estimate and after a few days contacted her insurance company to file a claimSince her deductable is $500, she was instructed to pay us directly for the damage and she has notWe have filled a civil action against her for the damages and time spent in this matter because she disputed all credit card charges when she received the service at Adams Auto totaling and Adams Rentals to rent the car would have been $43.99, the was held to be applied to the $damage however, she disputed both charges so she has paid nothingTotal owed to Adams Towing/Auto/Rentals is $plus we will seek expenses for the time responding to complaints such as yours and her credit card and insurance companiesWhat we feel was above and beyond service to her, renting her a car after hours, arranging and repairing her car the next morning on a sat and arranging her a ride to be transported once rental was turned back in after hours, costed our business $and our car is still damagedIf you have any questions I can be reached at ***
