Adams Toyota - Scion Lee's Summit Reviews (6)

The vehicle that Mr [redacted] purchased had just recently been traded into the dealershipThe dealership does hold title to the vehicle but is awaiting the lienholder to send lien release We have verified that the payoff check has cleared the bank and have asked the lienholder to expedite the lien releaseThe dealership does take measures to prevent this from happening We have spoken to Mr [redacted] on several occasions and have given him the option to return the vehicle and receive a full refund

As I believe I stated in my initial complaint, I still don’t have the title to my vehicle and the dealer tells me there’s a lien on the vehicleThis was not disclosed on the purchase agreementMy specific resolution request is that the dealer provide a clear title and they provide some sort of corrective action so that future buyers don’t fall into the same situation

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***After approximately days I did receive a clear title to the vehicle I purchased and so that part is resolvedIt is also correct that the dealership did offer to refund my moneyUnfortunately I was not able to exercise that option as I needed the vehicle for my family. What's less clear, and unacknowledged by the dealer, is why the lien wasn't disclosed at the time of purchase which I made with certified funds (cashier's check)
