Adamsburg Self-Storage

Review: Signed a contract for a storage unit. Due to it being the middle of the month, the unit was prorated for the remaining days in the month. On the day the contract was to begin, I called to cancel due to a problem with the property being stored. I had not seen the unit. I had not even been to the storage location. There was no answer, so I left a message. I received a call back from the woman who sold me the unit and she said that she could not refund my money because she had already paid the taxes on the purchase. I told her I understood and to just refund my money minus whatever taxes she paid. She said she couldn't do that. When I asked why, she said because she had done the work to sell me the unit. I asked her what she meant and she said that she had filled in the blanks of the pre printed contract and had emailed it to me and had run my credit card. In my opinion, that's the price of doing business. I can understand being a few days or a week into a storage contract and having to bite the bullet, but it was day one. Not wanting to argue any more, I just said ok and hung up the phone, intending to pursue different methods.Desired Settlement: Please refund the money of the unit I have not once used or seen and canceled the day the contract was to begin. If taxes were paid on the purchase by the business, I can understand that and will be happy to receive the original payment minus those taxes paid. Thank you.
