taken apart and the motherboard was further inspected showing that there was multiple pad damage to the motherboard due to the damaged Hdmi Port along with a good bit of dirt and dead bugs.Ms*** was called and informed of the said damage along with an explanation to the difficulty to the repair that it would not be a quick fix. Ms*** informed me at the time that I spoke to her on the phone that Youtube showed how to fix it with a hair dryer! At that time I asked her to come into the store so I could show her and explain. Ms*** then came in with a purchase that she had made weeks earlier for her daughter a refurbished laptop claiming that it was junk and did not work. It was a Dell Latitude iquad core processor unit. So I went ahead and turned on the unit and due to user initiated downloads of multiple programs the unit had become infected with viruses. After Ms*** stating that it was not her fault that the machine did not work well her Daughter admitted to downloading the said programs. So to ensure good customer satisfaction I exchanged the computer in which she left with different unit and satisfied.After the transaction with the laptop I proceeded to show her what was going on with the board and she left fully aware of the situationMs***s PSrepair was completed she came into the store on Feb 24th and the unit was hooked up to our TV and tested in front of her that it was in working condition when she leftI did get a call from her I would say about maybe weeks later stating her fan was loud I stated to her that she can bring it in and we can look at it and would waive the bench fee of $but that issue is not related to the HDMI repair in return she stated she was not paying for the fan to be repaired. Company responded via phone: Company learned the consumer's computer was covered under Apple's warranty and that is the reason company stopped working on the computer.  Consumer has been refunded her $250. Company believes the matter is resolved.

I did not pick up the ps4 on Feb 24th I picked the ps4, up on march 9th and called her the same day to let her know that there was a problem. The HDMI port is not in fact actually fixed either. My son is disabled and the ps4 is his  therapy and I can't believe that this woman is losing like that. Now my child is without his game system due to them not fixing it the proper way.

E-Tech Computers are inexperienced, illegitimate, sleazy con artists.
Beware of this Company. The owner Steve does not know what he is doing at all. He obviously just looks at stuff on YouTube and attempts to fix things for money. You could do better yourself. He tried to tell me I need a new computer because he couldn't install windows on it. Then told me he would take my 'broken' one off my hands and sell me another used one he had laying around- like he was doing me a favor. I decided not to take his advice and got a second opinion. It turned out my PC only needed a replacement DVD drive- a $20-dollar part. Essentially he tried to steal my computer which I bought for gaming that was worth about $1K and sell me a $250 Dell. Stay away from this company at all costs.
