Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2015/03/19) */ In response to Mr [redacted] complaint, I think we need to clear up some of the details that seem to be erroneousAs far as him being hung up on, my employee [redacted] said that did not happenBut as stated there are two sides to every storyWhat I do know as fact is that my employee [redacted] was contacted and made aware of the customers complaintThe impression my employee got was that the bill was fine, he just did not want to see the service callHe would prefer to have just one charge [redacted] told him that he would talk to me about it and that if [redacted] does the work he would honor his requestNow I know this is what was said because I heard the conversationThe customer stated that he reached out to me several times with no responseThis is a lieI called him at the number he left and got a recordingI left him a message stating I had received his complaint and understood his point of viewI apologized and told him that we would restructure the way the future invoices would be writtenA few days later he called back and spoke to [redacted] and said he received my call and wanted to find out if he could get his $backOnce again please be advised that he wasn't unhappy with the cost of the job, it was the charges being separateHe said he didn't like seeing two chargesMy company, employees, and myself are very honest and hard working peopleWe would never lie deceive or rip anybody off in any way shape or formThis business has been around for over yearsAs far as my technicians are concerned, I do not appreciate the customer saying they are not reputableMy technicians are probably the most experienced and competent in the whole are we workYou can research that if you would likeI will not tolerate being harassed, extorted, or intimidated by somebody who is always looking for a discountWe have already contacted the customers property management company and advised them that we will no longer ever do work for that customer againWe reserve the right to refuse service to ANYBODY for any reasonI will not refund any money to the customerI am extremely offended that somebody would go to this length to damage my company's reputation and mine as wellI pride myself on being fair, honest, and a generally good personAlso I've enclosed a quote for a "brand new" stove that is not "under $400.00"I hope this was helpful for you to understand the situation more clearlyThank you Sincerely, [redacted] -Owner/pertner-operator Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 8, 2015/03/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This response from [redacted] is full of lies and inaccuraciesYes [redacted] did hang up on meWhy would I lie about thatI explained multiple times to [redacted] who is the only person that would talk to me, that I don't understand why there are separate charges for labor and serviceThat is not standard in the industry and not even within his own employeesAlso, again lies, [redacted] never called meThere are no messages anywhereNot on my cell phone or home phoneI left both numbers several times with [redacted] to give to himAgain this is a flat out lieAnd as for being reputable, I just found out today from my property manager that the ignitor that they "repaired" is broken againHow convenient that they only offer a month warranty on their work as now it is barely beyond that time periodI find his disdain laughable and disingenuousI don't want his company working on my productsThat was never the point of thisI wish he would read the complaint I submittedI just wanted to be treated fairlyThat's allIt amazes me at what lengths he goes to try and defend the actions of his employees and himself when they are full of untruths

story. What I do know as fact is that my employee [redacted] was contacted and made aware of the customers complaint. The impression my employee got was that the bill was fine, he just did not want to see the service call. He would prefer to have just one charge. [redacted] told him that he would talk to me about it and that if [redacted] does the work he would honor his request. Now I know this is what was said because I heard the conversation. The customer stated that he reached out to me several times with no response. This is a lie. I called him at the number he left and got a recording. Once again please be advised that he wasn't unhappy with the cost of the job, it was the charges being separate. He said he didn't like seeing two charges. My company, employees, and myself are very honest and hard working people. We would never lie deceive or rip anybody off in any way shape or form. This business has been around for over 30 years. As far as my technicians are concerned, I do not appreciate the customer saying they are not reputable. My technicians are probably the most experienced and competent in the whole are we work. You can research that if you would like. I will not tolerate being harassed, extorted, or intimidated by somebody who is always looking for a discount. We have already contacted the customers property management company and advised them that we will no longer ever do work for that customer again. We reserve the right to refuse service to ANYBODY for any reason. I will not refund any money to the customer. I am extremely offended that somebody would go to this length to damage my company's reputation and mine as well. I pride myself on being fair, honest, and a generally good person. This response from [redacted] is full of lies and inaccuracies. Yes [redacted] did hang up on me. Why would I lie about that. I explained multiple times to [redacted] who is the only person that would talk to me, that I don't understand why there are separate charges for labor and service. It amazes me at what lengths he goes to try and defend the actions of his employees and himself when they are full of untruths.
