Revdex.com: I did call Tom the same day the gutters were hung to complain about the expansion joint He told me that was standard after hanging gutters so many feet This isn't what I wanted or asked for, but I accepted his answer because I was unsure how to communicate why it wasn't correct There was absolutely no obstruction in that area The reason he told me they had to do an expansion is because it was too long I didn't realize at the time but the back side of my house is longer, and there is no expansion joint there I checked with another gutter company, as he advised when he told me anyone that would say it wasn't necessary is crazy This other gutter company told me that was absolutely unnecessary and ridiculous Tom did say he would come by to look at the gutter, but I never heard back after that The reason I called is because someone who used to hang gutters mentioned it to me recently and explained why it wasn't necessary Additionally, to the coming back twice and cleaning the down spouts, I don't know that this happened He originally told me they would do this and to put a hose out I did buy a brand new $hose, which I put out that morning and it went missing So I am unaware how and when they would have cleaned out the down spouts I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com PBox DuPont,WA 98327RE: File ***October 12,2015More than months ago Mr *** called and requested our company to fix a leak in the back of his homeI went and met with both he and Mrs ***.At that time, I cleaned
his gutter and told him that due to the type of drainage system he has on his house, it will require a plumber or a rooter system(There are no downspouts like downspouts, but ABS pipes inside the wall of his home.) These internal types of downspouts require a licensed plumberSince we are not licensed or insured to do plumbing repairs, we would be unable to help him with his plumbing repairsI did send one of our installers out to seal the pipe at the connection with the back of the gutterWe did not charge Mr *** for the cost for cleaning and sealing at that timeI did tell Mr *** how he could unplug the internal pipes with an expansion bladder and a toilet snake should he chooseHowever we could not do itI gave him the number of a rooter service that would possibly clean his drainage pipesI was led to believe he would have his maintenance man do it.When Mr *** recently called he said his gutters were leaking, and he requested that our company repair themI sent installers and our gutter cleaner to his home to do soWe cleaned his roof (it was heavily covered with leaves and pine needles, etc.) We cleaned his gutters, removing nearly large yard debris bags from his roof and guttersThe installer cleaned and resealed approximately corners and numerous end caps- some were leaking a lot, and some just small amountsWe also sealed all rear draining pipes in the back of the gutterOur cost for this would far exceed the bill sent to Mr ***,It is very unfortunate Mr *** doesn't remember what I told him and his wife on several different occasions, but he was only charged for the work we performed on that day and only a portion of the chargesI regret that he is confused, but it was made very clear we couldn't repair his drainage pipes or the condition of his gutters.Daaiel K***Addi Continuous Gutters

While we were gone the roof was clean and the gutter we're also cleaned and we receive the bill. I am mediately paid the bill and contacted Addi in regards to the fact that I was concerned concerning a possible leaks not being fixed. I would only know the outcome once it begin to rain. Once that occurred I found out that I still had the problem and complained.
I at this point I was then told that I needed someone to come and clean out the drains. So none of what I hired Addi to do was accomplished.
They have my money and I must hire someone else to complete the job.

Revdex.com:
I did call Tom the same day the gutters were hung to complain about the expansion joint.  He told me that was standard after hanging gutters so many feet.  This isn't what I wanted or asked for, but I accepted his answer because I was unsure how to communicate why it wasn't correct.  There was absolutely no obstruction in that area.  The reason he told me they had to do an expansion is because it was too long.  I didn't realize at the time but the back side of my house is longer, and there is no expansion joint there.  I checked with another gutter company, as he advised when he told me anyone that would say it wasn't necessary is crazy.  This other gutter company told me that was absolutely unnecessary and ridiculous.  Tom did say he would come by to look at the gutter, but I never heard back after that.  The reason I called is because someone who used to hang gutters mentioned it to me recently and explained why it wasn't necessary.  Additionally, to the coming back twice and cleaning the down spouts, I don't know that this happened.  He originally told me they would do this and to put a hose out.  I did buy a brand new $45.00 hose, which I put out that morning and it went missing.  So I am unaware how and when they would have cleaned out the down spouts.  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

Prior to installation, Mr [redacted] was asked about the downspouts that were plugged.  He instructed us to install them into the drain holes all around the home and that he would take care of unplugging them at a later date. After installation, Mr [redacted] called our office and said that...

some of the downspouts were installed into downspout drains that were plugged and could we take care of that.  We scheduled this and sent 2 installers out to change the downspouts that he said were plugged and removed them from the downspout drains and put downspout extensions to divert the water away from the home.  I have called Mr [redacted] numerous times and left messages for him to call him back to check that everything was done to his satisfaction.  He has called after our business hours a couple of times and left messages but we have continued to play phone tag.  The last time he called he indicated there were additional downspouts that he wants changed now, however he didn't indicate which ones and he didn't return the call I made to him.  One of the times I did talk to him he also indicated there was a gutter leak in a corner so I sent a repair person out and the repair person found that the gutter was plugged.  Our repairman unplugged the gutter and left.  Mr [redacted] was not charged for this service call.  To this date, he has still not notified us about which downspouts he thinks needs additional attention which we are more than happy to do.  He is more than welcome to email us directly to give us this information since this phone tag issue isn't being resolved.  We need to have this information and we haven't received it.  Regarding the dry rot repair:  It was originally thought that he might only need 8 ft of fascia repair, but we repaired 16' with his approval and he was charged for only 16'.  There is one spot that is questionable that the installer didn't repair on the north west corner of the home and the installer didn't repair it because he wasn't given authorization to repair.  Regarding the extremely noisy downspouts:  this is the first we have heard about this.We request Mr [redacted] email us with his detailed concerns so they can be addressed properly.  I'm not sure what this disputed amount is regarding either. Please clarify
