Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Nowhere within the advertising or the website does it clearly state that Addictive Fitness will be signing you up for an ongoing membershipThe wording is construed to make you believe that you are paying for a one month deal - in my case, it was "August Mommy BootCamp"I trusted that I was paying for what was being advertised, and nothing moreI did not sign a contract with pen to paper, and when I spoke to the owner about what I thought was a misunderstanding, I was told that I would need to sign a contract cancellation form - when I had never signed a contract to begin with, and even after this, another payment was taken from my accountThe owner's lack of understanding, or willingness to help resolve the situation lead me to believe that this is part of her income planShe very specifically told me "I could help you, but that would take or steps on my behalf and cost me $40, so I'm not going to."I would be more inclined to let this drop, [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***
Hello this is a response back to *** *** we tried our hardest to deal with *** however we were not able to satisfy her at that timeShe registered online for a Bootcamp sessionWe do not offer month to month sessions within our gymWe have an offer to register at a reduced price and
cancel simply by heading into our office to fill out a cancelation formThe account will be cancelled days after the form is filedWe ask no questions as we understand simply life just happens. However accounts can't be cancelled unless done so with a form. We made attempts to call, and arrange cancelation form arrangements with ***. We have our membership rules stated on our websiteWe also have a page once registering that prompts you to a page to accept recurring payments this needs to be accepted with an activation button. *** contacted our server directly to cancel her membership as well as filled out a complaint to have all her memberships paid back to her. We accepted the claim and responded with the information we had sent her to attend her gym sessionThe claim resulted in her dispute being deniedOur hope are never to take or not be accommodating ***. We have our policy in place to accommodate our members to not feel obligated into a long term membership with our gym facility. We make it simple to come in fill out a form and hand it in. We do not pass judgement and will continue to train our member the same until they have ran out of their membership. We can't accommodate *** with her request for a refund of her full membership fees while attending our gym. She was given Nutritional Plans, recipes, boot camp time as well as many other bonuses during her time with us.
