Great owner that does her best for her community and her customers. We need more business owners like her. The boutique is wonderful and great prices.

Event in Feb had raffle & 50/50.Owner mentioned that $ was being donated to a local Shelter. Did not happend I checked it out. Please investigate!
Teas in Tiara Event was on
Feb 1,2020. My friend invited me so I attended. There was a 50/50 and raffled items such as gift cards from buffalo wild wings, oil changes from place located corner of Cole Rd & Macomb St, flowers from Debs, public house, Auto Zone , Bo Rics, Northside Grill. Owner mentioned that these donated items were being raffled so the proceeds could be given to Women's and Children Shelter( Salvation Army) on First St. This did not happen. She also posted for baking items and Valentine's cards for the Shelter too and collected them but did not donate them. Please do your research and call up to Shelter and ask the director about this. It is very sad that she is using the Shelter for herself. Please contact some of the businesses that donated to this event.I have been to many events and pay attention to items and look into it myself because sometimes you come across shady businesses using others. It took me awhile to look into this and it is sad I have to complain, but I hope when you do your investigation I will be proven Wrong.

Desired Outcome

Hopefully I am wrong but if not the owner needs to be known that her actions are wrong and should be given an amount to give to the Shelter as punishment or apologize to Shelter publicly.

There obviously has been a miscommunication regarding this issue! We have done several things for the shelter during all the most recent holidays! The money collected during our tea in tiaras event was put up for our Easter celebration with the shelter (we are sponsoring an egg hunt, bring the easter bunny, and cook for the entire shelter). Many of the workers are not always up to date on what is going on so it is to get incorrectly information provided to outsiders. We have also sponsored them this past thanksgiving for BREAKFAST AND DINNER where we not only donated ALL of the food but went in on the holiday COOKED AND SERVED as well. In addition we also DONATED COOKED AND SERVED their CHRISTMAS meal ON CHRISTMAS DAY as well as adopted EVERY CHILD IN THE SHELTER. I did not personally attend the Valentine's Day cookie baking but I did not end up collecting any donations for that project, my colleague did go in with cookies to decorate with the kids no donations were collected for this (we did post but did not end up needing outside donations). We will be back in the shelter to sponsor them for Easter which is what the collected raffle money goes towards, any left over funds carry to the next community give back most of which go to the same shelter because we love to help the less fortunate children in our community! Photos of all of this can be found on our Facebook page. Most of our local businesses donating know first hand what we do with those funds and is why they continue to donate to us. I think going forward it is appropriate to reach out to us directly before making assumptions or accusations *** I can upload photo evidence if needed or if it allows on the next page!

Half of the response is true. They did do some stuff for the Shelter in the past. As of now, they are not sponsoring the Shelter for Easter! If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the director of the Shelter
( ***) make sure to ask for the director of the Shelter to speak with her personally.

I do apologize this must be a miscommunication. My colleague met or spoke with the shelter director in December and we were under the impression that we are to be sponsoring the day before Easter when they do an Easter celebration outdoors with grilling out, egg hunts and so fourth. I have left 2 messages with *** (the shelter director)since receiving this complaint one being this morning again. If for any reason we are not returning to this specific shelter the funds will be used for a different shelter or food items will be donated instead! We are very big on community givebacks and have done several during the past few years including donating 500 pairs of socks for the homeless before we started routinely working with this shelter. I do apologize for any confusion but please note we are working to get the miscommunication resolved and will update once we have confirmed! *** if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me id love to help get this matter sorted out! We are definitely not trying to scam anyone it's an honest miscommunication that we will not take lightly and are working to figure out what is going on! If you send your information we can give you a direct response once we have one for you!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We love having the opportunity to work with such amazing young girls❤️

We had signed our child up with Addies Closet to model at an event that was advertised to sell tickets, merchandise, and we paid for our child to have an outfit, hair and make up and walk the runway. The owner knew weeks prior the event wasn't selling tickets and she was going to cancel, yet she continued to sell tickets and take model payments. After she published the cancelation she advised me my child would be under her term contract until a future event next year at her discretion. We paid that event in full and also had made payments for the next event Addies Closet had scheduled. We had been chosen to be brand representatives for Addies Closet in September and were told we would receive the bag we paid for with the outfit to take photos in for her social media. That never came and the owner blamed the company saying it was due to my child being in a plus size, which she is not. After asking the owner why she was stealing as she knew she wasn't providing this event and informed me that my payments were within her rights to keep and not refundable, that I could get a small refund of 40 dollars which I also never received. I was sent an auto reply tell g me not to bother filing anything with the bank about the goods and services not being delivered as she again was within her supposed legal rights to keep my money. I have an investigation open with my Fina cial institution regarding g this case with all documented proof of financial transactions, correspondence, and most recently emails saying she canceled items I paid for.

Desired Outcome

Refund I'd like my refund which my financial institution is currently investigating. I'd also like to see a public notice that this business is very poorly run and the terms and conditions the company has do absolutely nothing to protect the buyer from being scammed.

Here are email receipts for modeling payments and clothing which I never got the item or refund on. Also listed are screen shots from Facebook messenger conversations with *** the owner via the company and her personal account. Also email showing a few cancelations from her.

Part of our terms and conditions states that all modeling fees are non refundable which the customer agrees to by making payment as stated right in the items description when purchasing, as well as on our website under model opportunities and on the original social media post that was made. We immediately created a makeup event for this group in which they were set to receive all items for their package. It was stated if they were unable to make the date work (March 28 allowing time for scheduling around) they were able to use the package for any event within the next year. As for the additional items I had notified the customer that her Halloween outfit was in and available to schedule a pickup which she failed to do. Per our policy their is no refunds on holiday items which is also able to be seen on our website as well as Facebook page. I explained that there was a delay in the brand rep item and offered to move the customer to the following month or offered her a full credit to use on anything else. She accepted all of these solutions via Facebook messenger, then changed her mind later on. I tried several times to create a solution and was continuously harassed by the customer and told I was stealing even though we have had previous successful events and have another coming up as well. The customer was set to receive all items plus services and had agreed to all resolutions. The rest of the crew is still set for rescheduled event she optionally chose to withdraw which per our policy she has the right to do so but it follows the terms and conditions in which she agreed to each time she made a payment. Our policy on modeling is in place because we often pay the money directly out to other vendors for items that we are unable to have refunded only transferred. In addition before deciding to cancel the event I had actually run it by this specific customer for feedback and she agreed that it was better to schedule a different event based on the circumstances of the decision.

In addition I just seen the update about the cancelled items emails. Those emails are automatically generated when we go in to cancel an item through our site which we did per the customers request to be removed from the events and no longer wanting her items.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This business is continuing to take payments for goods and charge for services even to this date while informing customers she is within her rights to keep their money. I do believe that several months after paying hundreds of dollars with absolutely nothing but upset in a small child to show for it is just wrong, it is stealing! I never even got the $40 refund I was told I'd be issued on october 4th, she kept that also. Owner has been harassing people I know on Facebook and slandering me behind my back saying I fabricated this ordeal, yet so many have the same horror stories that she just takes money with no remorse and no delivery. Shame on this woman and her "business"

The proof of her acceptance was in the attached items previously. I believe the services she is referring to that we are taking money for is our Princess Ball that is scheduled for this coming Saturday November 23 which is well under way and will be completed, as well as the event in March that her group was moved to will continue as scheduled. While it was unfortunate that we had cancelled ONE event, we did offer a replacement event in which all parties remaining will get the items agreed upon in their contract. The fall fest cancellation was in the best interest of all involved, a hard choice to make but girls who signed up are still to receive and perform in the show. We make our policies very clear on all items, it is listed on our website, Facebook, as well as the description of the exact item when they signed on to model with our company. Once you make payment (for modeling) it is non refundable, by paying you agree to the terms and conditions. We have tried several times to come to a compromise the opposing party accepted then declined at a later date. Per our contract she was free to discontinue at anytime but by paying understood the fees were non refundable. Please let me know if I need to reupload any evidence to the situation
Also the only time we had mentioned the opposing party is when she slandered us on a Facebook post to a possible sponsor we were working with for an event (I can upload this if needed) so we had a brief discussion involving the incident at reference. We have been harassed numerous times on social media by said person in reference to this incident which follows contracted protocol. We are trying to make fun, enjoyable events for the kids in our community. We do not have a habit of canceling events it was a one time decision made with everyone's best interest in mind and have no plans to cancel any future or current planned events.
