Review: I was recruited by the Adecco [redacted] office in May, 2012. I visited the office 3 times to complete paperwork. I submitted my W4 tax info with 0 (zero) exemptions. My [redacted], [redacted], made an error in entering this info into their database. While preparing my 2012 taxes in Feb., 2013, I discovered the error. The error cost me $757 in taxes. I contacted [redacted] about the issue and she admitted that she had made the error. She faxed me more W4's to my employment location and I returned them to her in March, 2013. She informed me that she would look into what Adecco would do about the situation. To this day I haven't heard from her, and she has relocated to the [redacted], ** office. I contacted Adecco Corp. in mid-Feb., 2014 to pursue the issue. I didn't pursue the issue in 2013 because I had to care for my sick wife who died in Dec., 2013. Since the initial contact with Adecco Corp., they have dropped my issue on 2 occasions without notifying my by phone or e-mail. They are now saying that the issue is too old to correct. While employed by Adecco, I was never notified by anyone to check my withholding status regularly to insure the info was correct until I discovered this error. I have all the documentation to prove this event.Desired Settlement: They owe me $757.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Adecco Group North America regarding complaint ID [redacted]. As stated in my complaint, they dropped this issue twice without contacting me at all, even having my e-mail address and phone number. Them not contacting you is their usual conduct.

Review: 1) I applied for and was approved to begin a temporary job assignment through an employment agency; "Adecco". The job was a four (4) month + temporary position located at Prudential, paying $20.00 per hour.

2) After the approval process was complete, and a start date of 04/**/2014, was determined, I was later informed by Adecco that I was unable to begin work at Prudential.

3) I later discover that this came about as a result of an administrative error made within Prudential, which subsequently caused this shortfall.

3) Shortly afterward, I received written confirmation from Prudential that there was an error made, and that I can work at Prudential. Prudential also indicated that I should communicate this information to Adecco in order to facilitate this opportunity.

4) I therefore, immediately contacted Adecco, however, after numerous E-mails and telephone calls, I learned that although this position is still available, and even though both Adecco and Prudential approved my application as a temporary employee, Adecco now refused to place me on the assignment at Prudential, thereby preventing me from earning a living.Desired Settlement: 1) Job was to be paying $20.00 per hour.

2) Length of job was a minimum of four (4) months, or (16) weeks.

3) Based on a 37.5 hour work week, I would have been netting $574.01 per week.

4) (14) full weeks = $8,036.14

5) Subtracting 05/** and 07/**, (as unpaid holidays).

6) (2) partial weeks (due to unpaid holidays) = $927.62

7) Total amount owned to me by Adecco for (16) weeks pay = $8,963.76

To the best of my knowledge, Adecco has received the attached complaint, but they have not been in contact with me whatsoever. Based on our discussion, if Adecco chooses to ignore this matter, this will be reflected within the score overall that is used to rate them as a company.
