This is in response to complaint # [redacted] The customer came to us with knit maternity skirts that she wanted hemmed They were fitted for her, and she was given a dated receipt that was for a week and a half later which was the time frame based on our availability The skirts were prepared, one being hemmed with a finished hem and the other just being shortened as the original skirt was an unfinished hem(with no stitching) We showed her this with the leftover fabric and explained that we were only charging her $for this skirt and the finished skirt was $ A week later, on Saturday, she called the store to let us know she was unhappy with our service and wanted her $refunded She asked to bring skirts back so we could see the problem She did not want to bring them back, that she was going to have to take them somewhere else She showed no interest in trying on the skirts when she picked them up Once garments leave our store, we don't know how they are handled or hung or if people are wearing the same shoes or garments as when fitted We cannot just take someone's word without seeing the problem If they were in fact still too long, this is something we can fix at no further expense to the customer, which is our policy She did come back to the store, but would not try the skirts on It was explained that the tailor would take any new measurements for the hems and prepare them immediately, as she explained she was leaving town for weeksShe would not agree She also complained about the tailor yelling at her and she was concerned about her safety This was her opinion, not a fact, there was never any chance of danger, and she grabbed the skirt out of anger and left the storeThe tailor then closed the shop, as we are only opened on Saturdays until 2:00pm which is clearly posted on our sign We will not refund the $35.00, but we are more than willing to fix the hemming to her liking Thank you for the opportunity to reply Sincerely, Adel's Tailor Shop

This is in response to complaint #***. The customer came to us with knit maternity skirts that she wanted hemmed. They were fitted for her, and she was given a dated receipt that was for a week and a half later which was the time frame based on our
availability. The skirts were prepared, one being hemmed with a finished hem and the other just being shortened as the original skirt was an unfinished hem(with no stitching). We showed her this with the leftover fabric and explained that we were onlycharging her $for this skirt and the finished skirt was $25.00. A week later, on Saturday, she called the store to let us know she was unhappy with our service and wanted her $refunded. She asked to bring skirts back so we could see the problem. She did not want to bring them back, that she was going to have to take them somewhere else. She showed no interest in trying on the skirts when she picked them up. Once garments leave our store, we don't know how they are handled or hung or if people are wearing the same shoes or garments as when fitted. We cannot just take someone's word without seeing the problem. If they were in fact still too long, this is something we can fix at no further expense to the customer, which is our policy. She did come back to the store, but would not try the skirts on. It was explained that the tailor would take any new measurements for the hems and prepare them immediately, as she explained she was leaving town for weeks. She would not agree. She also complained about the tailor yelling at her and she was concerned about her safety. We will not refund the $35.00, but we are more than willing to fix the hemming to her liking. Thank you for the opportunity to reply. Sincerely, Adel's Tailor Shop
