Adelman has been in business for over During that time Adelman has never guaranteed the removal of any stain As each condition is impossible to determine over the phone, we would never make that promise to gain a job In addition, Adelman does not give a lifetime guarantee on
cleaning All workmanship issues are required to be reported in a timely fashion The paperwork does state hours, however most often that is extended to a couple weeks The customer in this case reported the issue weeks after the original cleaning

The attached customer was already flagged DNC.  Not sure why additional calls were received.  Will search for duplicates and purge the attached calling number.  Please call the office at ###-###-#### should you have other concerns.

As previously mentioned, Adelman does not promise removal of
stains in order to sell a cleaning job.  Even
so, the customer knew there was a problem with the carpet and chose not
disclose the information when placing the order.  Should this been brought to our attention,
Adelman would have been better able to advise the customer.  If the customer would like to discuss cleaning
options, please call our office and ask for the office manager.

We contracted with Adleman on the assumption that they could clean our carpet.   We don't recall them asking if there was anything that we thought would be beyond their ability to do so.  When the people came to clean the carpet we mentioned the persistent stain and they told us that if the basic process didn't do the job they would come back and try again.  Management did not agree, apparently the workers and the management are not on the same page or the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.  At any rate we have decided that although we will have to pay again we are confident that we will be able to find a carpet cleaner who is competent to clean our carpet.  Thanks anyway.

Review: I took in 3 area rugs to be cleaned. There was nothing wrong with them. I picked them up and when I unrolled them to lay them on the floor, one was damaged. They have a fringe on the ends. Approximately 2-3 inches of one end was completely destroyed and mangled. It cannot even be repaired. They folded the rug with this on the inside and made no comment or notation of this damage when I picked them up. I called to talk about the problem; was told I was being transferred to the supervisor whose name is [redacted]. I got voicemail and left my name and number, told her there was a problem I wanted to discuss and asked her to return my call. It has been 2 days and I have not heard from her.Desired Settlement: I feel that I should not have to pay for the cleaning and addition of a stain protection for a rug that I now must replace.

Review: Adelman has been calling me for several years on my cell phone selling their services. I have asked them each time to remove my name and phone number from their calling list. The person on the phone apologizes every time and says they will remove me, but just today I received another call again. What does it take for them to remove me from their calling list? I will NEVER purchase services from them again and I am tired of being badgered during my work day with their phone calls. I hired them 5+ years ago for carpet cleaning for a home I no longer own. I also moved out of the area by 50 miles and would contact a local provider if I needed services they offer. It is not beneficial for them to waste their time calling me.Desired Settlement: I am assured they have removed me from their calling tree, phone lists and their customer database.

Review: We contracted Adelman to clean our family room carpet. Especially to remove a stain that we had unsuccessfully tried to remove on our own. We explained what we had done to remove the stain and explained that the stain would eventually reappear. The senior tech [redacted], said that we had used a proper procedure to remove the stain but that he was confident that he could remove the satin and assured us that if it reappeared after he cleaned with his normal procedure we should call and he would return and try a more sophisticated procedure which would surely be successful. The job was done on 9/22/2014 and the stain had reappeared by 10/12/2014. I called Adelman on 10/13/2014 to ask that they revisit the stained spot and was told by ,I believe, a [redacted] that it was past the 72 hour workmanship complaint window and that we were out of luck. First of all I don't think this would be a workmanship complaint as the workman said that if the first procedure was unsuccessful he would return to follow up with another protocol.Desired Settlement: We would like Adelman to return and finish the job.

All workmanship issues are required to be reported in a timely fashion. The paperwork does state 72 hours, however most often that is extended to a couple weeks. The customer in this case reported the issue 3 weeks after the original cleaning.

Review: While cleaning the couch, which is a 5 piece sectional they put a 1 1/2 inch tear in the fabric of one of the cushions. It took two days to completely dry. Not until we were putting the couch back together is when we saw the damage. I called Adelman . [redacted], at Adelman is the one who handled this. She told me they did not have anyone to do the repair. I told her about Fibrenew and she said I could call them and have them repair the couch. This was done and I paid Fibrenew $157.00 for the repair. [redacted] than told me to send them the receipt for the repair. Which I did. Now they have me dealing with a [redacted], which they would not give me his last name. He had me send 6 additional pictures, which I did. He is refusing to reimburse me.Desired Settlement: This was damage done by Adelman and they should pay for the repair. I trusted them when they told me to have Fibrenew fix it and to send the receipt. I did not expect them to decide now that they are not going to pay for it!
