Review: Our function was to start at 1:30 and when we arrived the tables were not ready and the ones that were had the wrong color napkins (not matching our center pieces). Several of the white table covers were also stained. We paid for a buffet and carving station and assumed servers would serve the whole time, but shortly after the buffet opened, the servers left to serve in another room. Keeping the food trays full was also a problem. We would have to ask to have the food replenished. We were also shocked at 5:10 when workers were wheeling things in for the next party when my event was not over until 5:30. The worst part of the day was how rude [redacted] treated us when we were paying. She started by apologizing for the napkins and when my husband said it was more than the napkins she became arrogant and demeaning. We chose her business for a special event and she made us feel like she was doing us a favor. After my husband had a few choice words to say, she screamed at us to get out - of course after she got her money. The room is beautiful and food ok, but be forewarned the owner is anything, but professional.

Review: Adelphias restaurant has the employees marrying liquor bottles every night either in kitchen or behind the window at the front bar! I am a previous employee who was made to do this by intimidation! I would say we would marry atleast 50 bottles at the end of the night between the 3 bars! Sum people would cheap bar liquor in top shelf bottles ie. grey goose. The reason I was told we marry the bottles is because it's such a big and busy place that it would be annoying to have to run all the way upstairs to get a bottle every time one was empty so they make sure all bottle are filled to the top! You can clearly and visibly see the employees doing this..it is not done descretely at all! Around 11:00-12 at night u will see the bartenders stArting to pull tons of liquor bottle (usually in pairs) n then take them in the back n come back with one full bottle!! Soo many other things going on in that place.Desired Settlement: I just want the employees who are still there to be treated fairly and not made to do illegal acts!

On 4/13/13 my husband and family arrived at 5:50 P.M. to [redacted] In Deptford, NJ. [redacted], our server took our order, brought our food, took our [redacted] card, money and brought our receipt, for our meal. This wasn't our first visit but the first time we had a serious problem. The bookeeper [redacted], refuse to solve the problem with a solution from the bank and mr. and mrs. [redacted] concerning a charge of $ 39.60 charge and a 40.00 charge to our [redacted] debt account for the same meal. We had our receipt for 40.00 for our meal which is also stated on the [redacted] account. ad verifyed it with Represenatve [redacted]. My husband tryed to resolve the matter but the bookeeper my husband spoke to stated, she will call back. My husband informed her, you have to speak to my wife. I got a call from a bookeeeper name [redacted] 25 mins. later and I ask for her last name, she refuse to give and stated, she,s the only one with that name (My husband saw her ring it up [redacted] staetd she don,t know who rung it)

My husband checked our checking account and brought it to my attention we had checks written out and we are going to bounce if they don't resolve the matter today. She stated the [redacted] card was swipe twice but don't know who swiped it. she expalained, the person swide it once for .40 cents then realize she made a misstake and swiped it again for $ 39.60 and the .40 cents added to the $39.60 gives us the $40.00 for our meal. 4/17/13. information given to [redacted]: company letterhead-16 digit card #; release full amount; name of person releasing: amt. of authoraization code phone #:date & signature & direct number [redacted] fax# [redacted]. must be done by 2.59P.M. today so matter can be resolved. [redacted] stated, [redacted]. and her can't do nothing. wait until 5 days. I told her we will bounce by then. stated, she will tell you the same. we can,t help you and hung up.Desired Settlement: Take good advice of the solution by the bank and mr. and Mrs [redacted] so we don,t bounce and you want be charge fees because of being stubborn. It's not about who is wrong. it's about doing all you can for your customer to correct the problem asap, not waiting until 5 days go by and allow us to bounce because of an employee creating this problem, charging our account again of $39.60 after [redacted] was charge $ 40.00 and process and money provide to your entity. We have our receipt for $40.00 for our meal we purchased. We missed dinner and our day to go to the gym because we were back an forth on the phone with the bank reps., [redacted] and completing a form we did't wish to do. we tryed to get the mattetr resolved.

The audacity of this greedy owner is unbelievable the night before thanksgiving [redacted] has the nerve to treat his customers to A $50 entrance fee. It was so bad that the police were called due to incident at the door because the couple believed they were being gouged because of the color of there skin. If [redacted] is that greedy just think about how much he is over charging you for next banquet event. The food is horrible and terribly over priced less than below par diner quality food. The owner is lucky they do not shut this place down. They steal your watered down drinks that you over paid for when you leave the table then when you complain about it to [redacted] he claims that he is the victim. This place should be shutdown I always see underage girls in the bar because they found a way to bypass the bouncer by eating first then going to the club later. I have never seen a bartender card a young looking girl at the bar. This place needs to be investigated I even witnessed the bus boy [redacted] off the balcony numerous times this place is so disgusting.
