Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.Time frame:  I did start [redacted] job on 12/13/13 with every intention of completing it within the stated time frame.  I poured and finished her concrete to specs and graded the land twice after the homeowner (or someone) drove onto the freshly graded area with new topsoil and got her car stuck.  I did say that I would grade it again but only after the area had dried out some from the weekly snow and rain that we have had.  Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, I have yet to be able to complete the grading part of the job for a third time.  Gate:  One of my employees did damage the gate during the demolition part of the job. I temporarily rehung the broken gate at the homeowner's request to keep the her dogs from getting out.  I said I would replace the gate.  [redacted] gave me the paperwork for the original gate and I went to the same vendor ([redacted]) and used the same item number to order the gate.  I tried to install the gate on or about 2/14/14 but, because of the wet conditions, the homeowner was not happy with the second grade.  She specifically asked that I not put up the gate until I graded the yard again.  Because I could not grade the yard properly with the ground wet, I did not hang the gate.  On 2/24/14, [redacted] emailed me at 7:29 PM  that "between tomorrow2/24/14 and 2/25/14 my white fence needs to be put up".  I responded that I could do it by the end of the week (hoping to be able to grade the yard at the same time but, once again, we had snow and the gate could not be put up.  We spoke on the phone between then and 3/2/14; I assured her that I intended on completing the job.  On 3/2/14, [redacted] emailed again and stated that she had paid someone to put the gate up and that the gate did not match.  This is the first I have heard of the fence not matching.  I definitely would have addressed this had I known this when I purchased and put together the replacement gate. Chipped concrete:  When cutting the expansion joints for the concrete, some small areas chipped, this is easily repaired.  I also stated that I would repair this when I finished the job.Now that the weather is clear, I am happy to speak with her to set a date and time within the next two weeks to regrade the land and repair the chipped concrete.  Unfortunately, since the gate has been installed, I can't return it to [redacted].  Additionally, I used the information she provided to order the gate and she did not let me know when I purchased, delivered and assembled the gate that it was not correct. For these reasons, I am unable to refund the cost of the gate.  However, the contracted price for the work done was $3000 and I was paid $2800; the remaining balance of $200 should cover the cost of hanging the new gate. Please let me know if you require additional information and if I am to contact [redacted] or she plans to contact me.  I would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thanks,

First the company only graded my yard once and yes the car did get stuck.  After the one and only time the yard was graded the young man stated to us they still had to come back and rake it out in which they didn't.  I went through home depot but they hired an outside contractor to put up the fence.  I stated to [redacted] we could go through the company that put the fence up.  He did not try to install the fence on 2/14/14.  As my husband stated he did come and put the fence together and NEVER came back.  On this day 2/14 the weather was great as this was the one and ONLY time the yard was graded around lunch time because I got off work early.  So after the yard was graded he could have come back to hang the fence.  Yes I did email and told him the fence needed to be put up and he stated it would at the end of the week (2/28).  I also sent him a picture showing him we had put up a shovel to hold the fence up. We did not get bad weather again until 3/3/14 when it snowed again.  I know this because I had siding put up on 3/2/14 when I emailed him and told him about me paying to have the fence put up.  We did not notice the fence did match until it was hung.  So when he assembled the fence in the back yard I was not there to know they did not match.  The company had not intention on finishing the job since I had not talked with him since 2/28/14 and sent the email on 3/2/14 and today is 4/1/14.  The only reason I've heard anything from him is because I contacted the Revdex.com.  I've come out of my pocket with over $300 to try and fix my yard so I could use my drive way and back yard again and yes I have the receipts.  I have also purchased the supplies need to repair the chipped concrete as well.  So since I have paid this money to fix the problems I have no intention on contacting the company since the last time I talked to him was on 2/28.

Review: The company started my job on 12/11/13 and the job is not complete as of today 3/12/14. I was told this job was going to take two weeks to complete and we are now passed three months. I have not spoken with the owner of the company since 2/28/14. Their first day on the job they damaged my fence. He purchased the fence and NEVER put the fence up like promised. Per his email response to me on 2/24/14 he was to fix my fence by the end of the week and would also grade my yard. On 3/2/14 I paid someone to install/fix my fence. I also brought to his attention that he did not order the correct fence and that I will have to reorder the correct one and this will have to do for now. I will also have to pay someone to grade/fix my yard. When he completed the cement I brought to his attention how I wanted the chip sections fixed. It's not may fault the tools used damaged the cement. For this company to have no contact with me since 2/28/14 is not professional.Desired Settlement: Since I the customer will have to pay to correct the job not finished I should be refunded something. As a professional company they should have finished.

[redacted],

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

Time frame: I did start [redacted] job on 12/13/13 with every intention of completing it within the stated time frame.

I also stated that I would repair this when I finished the job.

Now that the weather is clear, I am happy to speak with her to set a date and time within the next two weeks to regrade the land and repair the chipped concrete.

Regards,
