I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The issue of swapping the *** for the dealer recommended ** refrigerator is irrelevant That is not my complaint nor my motivation in seeking compensation Also, the comparison with *** *** is irrelevant because the competitive price was given to us by ***'s Appliances, who offered a lower original price for the *** (by $90) than Adirondack After informing the salesman at Adirondack of ***'s lower price, he agreed to match their offer and he dropped the price by $ He then pointed out that Adirondack charges a $delivery and installation fee, but that *** was offering a rebate for exactly that amount, so in effect that charge would be eliminated Since both dealers had the same price for the same product, but ***'s charged $for delivery and installation, we chose to do business with Adirondack Appliances (as we have for many years) Only when the refrigerator was delivered did we see the rebate offer, which states very clearly that the customer must spend over $to qualify We were clearly misled by the salesman Since the elimination of the delivery and installation charge was the deciding factor in buying the refrigerator from Adirondack, I expect compensate for the $ Not only would that eliminate the taint of dishonesty, it would just be good business -- especially with respect to customers who have purchased refrigerators, a washer, and a stove from them in the pastRegards,

After  reviewing all the issues involved in this sale, I find that the sale price of $1,350. was actually a price match with [redacted]. The original retail price is $1,599.  a reduction of $249. Which exceeds the $150. Rebate. This is why the manufacturer stipulates
a sale price of...

$2,499. All rebates
are set forth by the manufacturer any rebate issues are handled
directly by the manufacturer, [redacted] Appliance ###-###-####.  Please contact them directly. I also see in our notes that the customer tried to return this model after the product was already installed in their home. The customer specifically request this model as opposed to the ** Refrigerator our sales staff recommended based on the customers preferences. Clearly the customer regrets this purchase and is trying to find fault for compensation. Unfortunately, as the retailer we have exhausted all resources in satisfying this customer by price matching with [redacted]. Sincerely, Debbie

are responding the same as follows: Mr. Wink we are sorry your ** Washer is not performing to your expectations. Since you did not purchase your laundry from us, and this is a brand we do not...

recommend based on quality issues like the ones you are experiencing, we have no additional manufacturer assistance available for you. Unfortunately, appliance repairs never happen as a planned expense however, our base trip charge and diagnosis is far less than many of our competitors (for Example [redacted] Charges $120 for trip charge and diagnosis only). I am sorry you feel slighted by the diagnosis charge however it is a standard industry practice
and compensates us for the time and expertise of the
technician. Some confusion exists regarding us returning. Your wife requested Thursday
since she was not available until today.  We did in fact respond this morning to drain the water from  your machine. As you have been informed the cost of continued repair exceeds the value
of the washer. Our policy is that if an
appliance repair exceeds the value of replacement, we will give you a FREE 10 year component warranty on the motor of your new washer when
you purchase a new appliance from us. Our sales staff would love to
guide you into a
far less problematic new machine. We will happily meet our beat any of our local competitors pricing. Here is a link to our
