After receiving a phone message from [redacted] about her Husband [redacted] account, I asked my billing specialist to check into this matter [redacted] Administrator [redacted] Response I called the office and talked to ***, [redacted] stated that she had misquoted the patient, but had no documentation that stated that factI called Mrs, [redacted] and I apologized to her for their inconvenienceI told Mrs [redacted] that we would be adjusting off the balance since Mr [redacted] was misquoted, I also told her that we have a company making calls for us and that we are working out the kinks with this new company doing these calls for usWe have written up this employee for not reading authorization properly and for not following up with patients about addition monies owedI explain everything to Mrs [redacted] and I felt when we ended our conversion she was happy with the result [redacted] Billing Specialist

Called today because I could not find the strength they told me and she says she does not think you can get higher than a certain strength...wtf??? Lead me on a goose chase again running out that 30 days. I began to vent, and I feel rightly so, and Beth at Franklin Road location just hung up on me. How is that for customer service??? They don't know how to fit the lenses properly, read a prescription or give correct advise and if you complain their solution is to hang up on you. Will never use them again...should have learned my lesson the last time and it is a shame because I really like Dr. Blackstock but the staff is terrible.
I just wanted to let [redacted] know that Newman and Blackstock called me and stated it was their fault and that because of that we would owe them nothing. Laurel state the girl even admitted she misquoted us and did not call us to resolve the issue. Thank you for helping with this issue, your company is very effective and makes sure that the customer is taken care of and for that I am thanking you. You guys are the best!!!!

I have bought glasses at this company for years. Recently (2 mos ago) I purchased a pair that was uncomfortable. My insurance covered 1 return, so I returned them for another pair. They came in, wrong color (black frames with brown lenses- so much for a quality check department). I was told that they would re order the black lenses, I was not told the frames came in black, so was pleased with the frames. 2 weeks later, I called, the correct frames came in. I was not happy, I had went for 2 weeks liking the 'wrong' frames, & under impression that re-ordering the correct lenses was not a problem. After speaking to regional manager, I was told this couldn't be done, $149 to get the dark lenses. I go by to get the brown lenses put in the correct frames, I was wearing contacts so didn't check to make sure they got right lenses in right sides of glasses, thinking that couldn't be that difficult. I was wrong. The lenses are in the wrong side of the frames. So, back to Johnson Curran tomorrow. This was the Tanglewood Mall location btw, [redacted], not the Valley View mall location. There has been no responsibility for any mistakes, other than "I'm so sorry" and "I understand". Thankfully I have a 20 yr old pair of glasses (yes, bought from this company) that I can still see out of.
