I was charged for insurance premium after I had already cancelled my plan. I have requested a refund and am told I have to wait until the cc refunds
I submitted my cancellation since March 24,2018. I was told I couldn't cancel unless it was 7 business days, so I submitted my cancellation and it was to be effective as of 4/30/18. Unique processed my premium again on 5/1/18 for 99.00. I called them and each person blames someone else for the mistakes. I told them I need to get my refund as I am going to be charged NSF fees. I was told that the refund would be made on 5/1/18, no refund was made. Now I'm told I have to wait until the credit card company refunds me. This is unfair as I am out $99.00 for their mistake and now I have to wait for my refund until the credit card company returns it. Unfair practice to the consumer.
I need my refund back immediately. I am covering the cost of this charge to avoid having any returned items by my back for insufficient funds.
