Adkins Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc

This is additional information from my wife (her memory is better than mine): we had no a/c from April 1st until August! Every time we arrived at our beach house on Friday evening it was out of Freon. Adkins was called out to repair the leak. They recharged with Freon and said the system was “good to go”. We were charged $500 for freon because of after hours service! After replacing the air handler, it went out again 17 hours later on a Saturday. Adkins came out and again charged $500 to refill freon! That is when tech said it was outside condenser! Adkins had installed a new condenser a few months before the air handler issue. The new condenser failed 8 months later and needed to be replaced. Fortunately it was covered by warranty and we got service elsewhere! The unpaid charges were all for freon and labor! We paid for the air handler and new condenser.
