Review: On March 13, 2015, I happened to check my online bank transactions. I saw a debit, charged on my debit card, for 49.99, from a company called Vidlair.com. I called my bank immediately to inform them I had not made this charge, and because it hadn't finished processing yet, I was unable to file a dispute, which I will do as soon as I can. In the meantime, I performed an internet search and found that this company is an obscure internet movie streaming company whose site I have never been on before. I finally found their phone number, called the number, and was put through an automated loop simply saying they did not give refunds. Frustrated, I hung up, but called back using the technical assistance department to try and get through to speak to someone. I was finally connected to a representative who wanted my complete debit card number. When I would not give her that, she wanted my zip code and was miraculously able to locate my "account" simply by using that. I informed her I had no idea what this business was about and demanded an immediate refund of my 49.99. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford that extra 50.00 to be taken from my account. She said I would receive a refund in 1 to 15 business days. She told me that someone I knew had given my debit card information. I told her that was impossible...I live alone and do not disclose that information to anyone. I am furious and am not sure if I will even get a refund. I have no idea how they got my debit card information. I need a refund in two business days in order to simply survive.Desired Settlement: Since I know nothing of this company, I'm not convinced I will get a refund in a timely manner. I also suspect they are not a legitimate company and should be investigated. I have never heard of them before today. I'm hoping they are not victimizing others.
