Following this, a check for $($less than the agreed upon amount) was sent to Camp *** at UC San Diego, but this check bounced on 6/24/due to non-sufficient funds (please see attachment for proof of returned check)We followed up with Admiral's Experience via e-mail but received no response; we were finally able to get in touch with *** over the phone on 7/7/16, and he verbally confirmed that they would process a new check with the correct amount of $to be sent out within the next few days.We never received this check and from this point forward could no longer get in touch with Admiral's Experience (via e-mail or phone)We were able to get back in touch recently after receiving a promotional e-mail from their company, and they are now refusing to complete the refundWe would like Admiral's Experience to reissue a check for the full agreed-upon refund amount of $

I have added the attachment containing a statement made by the catering manager at the time of the event.To Whom It May Concern, I was part of the original team who planned and coordinated the event for UC San Diego Make the Magic April 2nd Admiral’s Experience gave an
enormous discount financially, charging only for the Admiral’s Package which normally cost per guest which was a discount of per guest There were also additional discounts for the flatware, plating dishes, appetizer plates, water and beer glasses and no charge for napkins, along with an additional discount of and no tax charge Total discounts/donation for the event was over 10, We were also told not to provide or charge for serversBecause we were asked not to provide personnel, it was only myself and my assistant at the event The day before the event we were also informed of dietary changes; per our contract, changes are not to be made days prior to the event, even so we were kind enough to make the changes I was also there the day of the Event as the Event Coordinator Upon arriving, I was escorted to a garage for set up This was not something we were informed about Having to prepare and manage food in a garage is more than unprofessional and very unsanitary I mentioned this and was told this is the only space I had to work in I personally arranged the fruit and veggie trays in the reception area, as well as cut up bread and provided baskets (not requested or charged for) for the donated bread that was given to them I was asked by the bartending staff if I could provide extra buckets to chill the beer and alcohol (not requested or charged for) I was told that we needed more beer glasses than the original request I called our Point of Contact and had these delivered as requested (at our personal expense) I was informed that I would have help for plating and serving meals Halfway through the meal I asked for that help to plate the food, as it was just myself and my assistant Having reviewed the messages (via *** and *** before the event) I knew that we were to be given eight bodies to help with the plating and service I had to ask three times for help We did run out of the main dish item; we were short plates of chicken I contacted *** *** immediately and he brought these plates to the event, along with providing To Go containers I personally took each guest their plate and apologized for the confusion At the end of the night, I personally donated to their fundraiser and spoke to ***…apologizing for the platesShe stated that everything was wonderful and that it was just a hitch in the evening and Thanked meR/ *** ***
