[redacted] boat co did send a seat, I am very happy with [redacted], its sad to me that I spent over 36k at admiral and after the sale they did nothing to help me with this problem . my complaint has been resolved. I thank the Revdex.com and [redacted] boats. [redacted]
July 7, 2016This is the response to [redacted] and [redacted]'s complaint regarding the purchase of their 1996 260 Excel.First time meeting with the customer to look at the boat was 4-18–16. Boat was still wrapped in shrink wrap for winter storage, but a door was cut into the back so that they...
could access the inside of boat. At that time the subject of warranty was talked about. I stated that we do not give any warranty on used boats. [redacted] also stated that he was a marine mechanic that before buying the boat he would like to be able to do some mechanical tests and examine the boat further. I agreed to this.On 4–19–16 they were emailed the purchase agreement on the boat. Clearly marked on the contract was that the boat is sold "AS IS".On 4–25–16 they were emailed the previous owners contact information so they could talk to him about the boat, which they did.On 5-2-16 they came to the dealership to check out the boat again. They spent approximately three hours examining, testing and running the boat. They then signed the contract paid the b[redacted]ce on the boat and left with the boat.On 6-15-16 [redacted] sent an email stating they have problems with the boat.At no time was Admirals Anchor, any of its employees or myself aware of any structural issues or problems with this boat.They knew there was no warranty on the boat from our conversations, the purchase contract and their own care and caution in examining the boat.We would be willing to take the boat in trade on a new boat that would have warranty from the manufacturer.[redacted]
Firm states that a seat was shipped yesterday from the manufacturer ([redacted]) to the complainant and should be receiving it soon.
