ID # [redacted] To whom it may concern, I am responding to notification of compliant [redacted] I could not find this review on lineI am assuming this is in regards to a prospect that’s application was denied due to criminal activity that was reported to us on his criminal background check days after his initial submission of his application This particular prospect marked the box on his application that he had never been convicted of a crime The evening of Friday 02/he and another applicant applied for apartment [redacted] together Immediately credit check came back approvedBut criminal background was pendingAssistant manager informed prospects that they were approved on credit and criminal is pending we will contact them when final approval is completedAssistant wrote on preapproval welcome letter that criminal was still pendingSunday at 10:a.mleasing associate contacted applicant to inform them of status updateLeasing associate informed them criminal background had not been returned yet, that the manager will contact them Monday, applicant said that was ok they were not moving until Monday afternoon so they can sign the lease and everything on that day Sunday evening 02/criminal background was returned and gave finial out come as declined due to felony chargesCompany qualifications deny criminal felonies within yearsThis particular felony charge on the applicant was with a release date of 05/17/making it less than years old.Monday morning 02/Manager came into workChecked application status from the weekendDenied application, called prospect to let him know the status of the background checkHe said ok manager asked for a forwarding address to send his refund of the admin fee to him.02/at 8:a.mManager processed refund, sent it to the accounting department at corporate office to have a check cut(checks are not refunded on site level.) Leasing associate informed them criminal background had not been returned yet, that the manager will contact them Monday, applicant said that was ok they were not moving until Monday afternoon so they can sign the lease and everything on that day.   Sunday evening 02/28 criminal background was returned and gave finial out come as declined due to felony charges. Company qualifications deny criminal felonies within 7 years.
