incident as recorded by the Property Management Company.   [redacted] made an initial maintenance call in regards to [redacted]t. On April 30th, indicating that there were some water leaks in the basement portion of the property.    The Property Manager, Julie reached out to [redacted] and meet him on the property on May 4th.  There was no major evidence of maintenance issues.  Julie discussed it with [redacted] and the maintenance requests was closed.   There were no further issues reported until May 25th.  The Property Manager, Julie returned to the site on May 26th.   There were some moisture issues with a bedroom wall, the door to the mechanical room, and on some baseboards.  Julie contacted a General Contractor and had the repairs completed on May 30th.  This was all communicated with [redacted].  At that time, due to the issue the rent was abated by $75. Julie also offered for the Tenant to move to a bedroom that was not in the basement, as it was no longer occupied.  The tenant refused the offer, and insisted on staying in the basement portion of the property.   We had no further reports of any issues until July 14th.   Julie offered to send the General Contractor back to minimize any issue.  At that time Julie offered [redacted] to be released out of the remainder of the contract and that July rent would be prorated to reflect that.  [redacted] did not respond until July 24th, and at that point demanded reimbursements of 3 months.  Julie offered as she offered in the prior situation that the owner would be willing to release them of the lease on July 14th and prorate July rent, even though they had remained in possession of the property.   It is the view of the Property Management company that we reacted in a reasonable manner.    Please let me know if you have any other questions in regards to this incident   Thanks,  Matt A[redacted]CNetwork Property Services765-289-7618
