This is a review, perhaps on its way to a complaintFirst, customer service: They took weeks to complete work that their contract stated would be 2-weeksThe owner has shown up at night, unannounced, to demand payment when it is not dueThey have no job supervision, so I am out there when subs show up (unannounced) trying to explain what needs to be done, etcI have spent well over hours managing their people on siteEven after sending written instructions to the owner for the next phase of work, the subs show up and know nothing about this effort, and do not have a copy or what needs to be done
Accounting: Their contracts are a mess - I have half-blank ones, some with illegible writing scrawled in the margins, and even a missing contractThe invoices are even worseMany have the same date, though they are handed to me months laterSome have handwriting on them, numbers scratched out, duplications, etcThe final invoices have added charges that were never mentioned or write in the contracts
Currently, the owner is demanding payment thru a disjointed, jumbled, random email effort to intimidateWe do not have the last payment from the insurance company, but he is confused and incorrect about collectionWe obviously arrive at different numbers for services, but he refuses to discuss this, just demanding what he thinks is owed
I would be happy to have a third party look at this to validate my claims
Office was quick and responsive to my request for a quote on chimney repairs Gentleman who came out to look at the chimney and give an estimate was thorough and processional Work was completed days following, and work that was done was above and beyond expectation!
The owner came out, was able to provide multiple options and had an estimate out to us the same day Had a crew out to complete the work within a few days; quicker than I was expecting The cleanup afterwards was impressive Now my roof looks great & I can't find fault with any part of the experience
In early April Thomas Jefferson Roofing and Remodeling sent Cheryl out to my home to take measurements to have the shutters replaced and exterior front door painted After weeks of waiting on my estimate and trying to get in contact with Cheryl I was assigned to a new sales associate, Matt D*** Matt and I spoke on the phone on several occasions and he assured me that my project was being taken seriously and that I would be put on their schedule immediately I signed a contract and put down a deposit on the work on April 17th and was told the work would be completed no later than a week time window I have been shuffled around from employee to employee within the company trying to get the work completed and I still have not been put on their schedule At this point, I want a refund for the $deposit I put down
A section of my original roof had become warped They inspected it, gave me a quote then came out and did the work of replacing the decking and shingles Their work was timely and good quality It has a been a couple years now since they did the work and the replaced section still looks great
Thomas Jefferson Roofing employee Eian S*** came to my residence completed an appraisal for new dimensional design roof completed paper work for *** insurance they sent a check *** in the amount of 2,Eian S*** collected check and my for deductible never came back to fix my roofI spoke with Eian S*** boss they only stated I needed to file a police report the Hancock police said I couldn't file a report because he was on the clock working for Thomas Jefferson Roofing if they didn't file a police report to contact Revdex.com and take them to small claims court for insurance fraud
Thomas Jefferson Roofing was called in part due to an offer of a $discount for compensation for sending out a failed sales repWhile I mentioned this $discount through the project, Thomas Jefferson Roofing refuses to honor the discountThey now say they gave us an upgrade shingle at a cost of over $1,000, no charge, with no mention of this upgrade on any contract, and that 'cancels' out the discountThe first meeting with the Production Manager, we were told we would get the upgrade shingles - "everybody gets those, we are one of the only places that gives you that"We were handed a GAF selection booklet, opened to the upgraded shingle, and were told to pick a color from the offerings on that pageThere was no mention of additional costTo back up his claim of the additional cost, we were sent a document from Thomas Jefferson Roofing that clearly was made on MS Word that "proves" the different cost, as bought wholesale from *** *** ***No letterhead, no
Scott and his crew did a great job! Scott gave us quotes & worked with our insurance company to help us get our approval The crew came out and took extra care to make sure that all my spring flowers & bushes were covered and did not get damaged The crew was friendly, very tidy and didn't have trash and roofing materials everywhere and kept them out of my neighbors yards Excellent job & I would recommend them to friends & family
Dissatisfied! What was suppose to be done took over months Then they wanted payment before the job was done and actually came to my house at night Never will use them again and crossing my fingers that the leaks are stoppedStay away!!!
