I’ve been at this property for almost a year and a half....over the past months I’ve had flooding issues from the upstairs apartments (clearly not the properties fault) however after the 1st flooding incident they did not replace the carpet .pause a little back story on the carpet, when I moved in the apartment I let management know that the carpet was not in good shape and I documented it on the apartment condition form when I first moved in ..now back to the issue at hand, on Sunday 10/21/we had the 2nd flood incident (entire carpet in all bedrooms and living room soaking wet) they told me today that they will not replace the carpet that is in really bad shape in addition to this issue .the trash is horrible and is always running over, the gates are not working the majority of the time, Arlington PD is always over here about some issue, my car was stolen from my reserve parking space months ago, I have over a dozen cracks in the walls of my apartment from the ceiling to
First moved in and hose was connected to washer tightly and incorrectly While attempting to unscrew the hose the hose broke which cause a major flood Took emergency maintenance two hours to finally come and turn the water off which cause neighbors house to flood as well Apartments then contacted me and told me I had to file a insurance claim for th damages which then led to me having to come out of pocket almost Refused to work with me as this was a unexpected expense and threatened to evict me if the balance was paid in what they thought was a timely time frame Incident two they put notices on everyone’s door stating they will no longer take money orders and rent has to be paid online Contacted office on June 1st as the online portal wasn’t working to make payment but there was no answer Contacted the offic eJune 2nd which was a Saturday as soon as they opened to let them know the problem Office manager insisted that they would try to resolve the problem and give me a call back I received a call thirty minutes before closing and they stated that I needed to bring in a check , I advised her I don’t own checks I was then placed on hold and told to bring a cashiers check on Monday but since it will be after the 3rd of the month I’m required to pay a late fee for a error on their end I’ve had nothing but issues with this complex and staff since I’ve moved here

On February 22nd I called Arbrook Park apartments and spoke with a leasing agent by the name of *** I advised *** that I had to put in a day notice at my current resident and that I needed to find a place to stay she quoted me her pricing for the two bed room one bath apartment she advised with a move in date of March the second my base rent would be $I asked her was there any possible way that I could lock in this rate before the price changes she advised that I could go online and submit a payment this would take the apartment off the market and secure my move in date so with that being said I created a login on the apartment website and I submitted the fees that needed to be paid without viewing the apartment I asked *** Could the apartment be held she spoke with her manager and they advised that they could hold the apartment I received a call back within hours from *** *** stating that the apartment couldn’t be held and that the prices would be change

I lived at Arbrook Park *** *** ** #*** from may to may 3, I have paid all rent and fees since moving inUpon deciding to move out, I delivered an intent to end lease day prior as stated in the lease contractThe day I turned in my key to the apartment I request to be informed of the date and time a final inspection would be conducted of the apartmentSince then, untill now 01/10/I have not be given that opportunityI have however received a final bill in the mail dated 9/26/with the following charges as follows:
