stating everything is complete. I will give the customer a call to review the order. If there is a problem, I will do what I can to fix it.

Review: I bought a coffee table and two sides tables on March 1, 2014. They delivered the wrong merchandise on March 14, 2014.

Merchandise was purchased with GE CAPITAL credit card from the furniture store.

I called the company and explained that was the wrong tables. They indicated that they will deliver the correct tables and that I should keep the tables until they do the exchange

I have paid the credit card on 3/28. I returned the merchandise on April 15, 2014 and as of today the credit has not been applied to the GE CAPITAL credit card

I called several times, and they indicated that they send the credit. Nothing has been done.Desired Settlement: It is over two months of this situation, I am 78 years old and the salesperson don't give an straight answer nor even try to help me

They are abusing because I am a senior citizen and treated me without any respect.

Review: ON 11/05/2015 THEY DELIVERED A SOFA. THEY DAMAGED THE SOFA PULLING OUT OF THE DELIVERY VAN. THE DELIVERY PEOPLE HAD SUCH A BAD ATTITUDE LIKE I BOTHERING THEM. SINCE THEN WE WANTED TO CANCEL THE ORDER THEY SAID WE COULNT . SPOKE TO TOM A SALES MNGR AT THE HACKENSACK STORE IN WHICH WE DIDNT DO BUSINESS THERE . THEN LEAVING A TON OF MESSAGES WITH [redacted] @THE LODI STORE HE TOLD ME I WOULD $250 FOR A CANCEL FEE. AFTER TWO WEEKS GOING BACK AND FORTH MY WIFE AND I JUST WANT A NEW COUCH . THE DELIVERY WAS GOING TO BE 10 AM TO 12 PM ON SATURDAY DEC 5TH OF COURSE NO SHOW THEN WE CALL 7 TIMES AFTER THAT THEY TOLD 1/2 HOUR EACH TIME MY WIFE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND I WAITED TILL 3:45 STILL NO ONE SHOWED. SO TODAY ON DEC 7TH THE SET UP DELIVERY FOR 4 PM THEY SHOWED UP TOOK OUR SOFA THAT WAS DAMAGED AND GAVE US ONE SECTION OF THE SOFA THE OTHER PIECE OF THE SOFA IS ON ORDER. ALSO NO AREA RUG . OF COURSE NOT . NOW WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH ONE PIECE OF A SECTIONAL SOFA. WHAT A JOKE I WANT TO CANCEL THE DEAL I DONT WANT TO PAY FOR A CANCEL FEE . I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN AND I MAKE SURE THEY WILL LOOSE BUSINESS . I ALREADY CONTACTED THE BERGEN RECORD AND I WILL SPEND MONEY TO MAKE SURE THEY DONT DO THIS AGAIN TO ANYONE . Review: Around July 3red I walked in adore home furniture looking to furnish my new section 8 apartment this is my first place after 5 years of being homeless lost my job lost my house and family so Finlay in reunited with my family I asked for manager he goes by name [redacted] was friend of mine by the name [redacted] referdb me to him I tolled him what im looking for I picked what I want wev agreed on price I applied for loan though loan companies that he deals with to be honest I didn't care about payments or interest rate I was happy to get approved so applied for my wife ([redacted]) )my son actually he applied for all of us [redacted] s[redacted] and me [redacted] s[redacted] total of 7500 dollars I paid 900 down payment 30 days latter he delivered 1600 hundred or less worth love seat coach 3 mattress and bed room the love seat and couch wasn't what I ordered totally different but because I need them I expected them the rest never delivered I complained and complained non response I paying for loan that's I didn't get products for I have text messages to prove it witnesses and the product I want full refund my wife's and sons credit is damaged I get phone calls all day so pleas pleas help me resolve this issue asap my number ###-###-#### his number r2[redacted] proudect was not deliverdDesired Settlement: Refund – of the amount paid for products or services if they were not delivered or were unsatisfactory.

Review: I am writing this as a warning to future customers. We went to their lodi location placed an order and signed up for financing to have a living room set and bed delivered which we never received. We come to find out it was cancelled ok fine. We recieved bills for almost 1800 dollars from their finace company [redacted]. Call them tell them the order was cancelled they had already began collections for past due amount of 3 months. Ok fine I go back to adora since all bristle cone needed was a letter of cancellation they adora claim they have.no record.of the.order. they said they would contact a manager and get back to us. Several nasty phone calls to adora ensue still no results. They are really unprofessional since they cursed me out and marty hung up on me twice Calls from collection agency for [redacted] finance black marks on my credit report more phone calls to adora no results. Tomorrow I am calling a lawyer to find my next course of action. Be advised stay far away from them and their financing because this is a huge hassle.Desired Settlement: For the paperwork to be handled and a formal apology

Review: Purchased a king size bedroom set on 12/15/15, scheduled the delivery for 12/24/15 so that I can renovate my bedroom. We were the last delivery that day and the set came without the footboard. This meant we spent Christmas sleeping on the floor. Day after Christmas they delivered the footboard but was still missing the piece to hold the drawers in the footboard. That was Saturday and no one came back to bring the piece. On Tuesday' morning the bed broke while we were asleep. Not only did we call, we went to the store. The store manager admitted that the part was missing that would have kept the bed from braking and he knew it. He told us that the bed would be fixed that evening. We waited that day only to be told they couldn't fix it and had to wait until the following day. My husband had to then waste another day waiting, they finally gave him a time at 4 pm. At 630pm I called the store only to be told that they will be there and everything will be taken care of that night. The manager also said he will be there to 9pm and not to worry. At 8pm, the delivery guy called saying the warehouse doesn't have the part and we then have to wait again to the following day New Year's Eve at 4pm. When I called the store, they all left for the day. I have had enough!Desired Settlement: I need this nightmare to end and I feel that we were obviously been taken for granted. Besides the original delivery day, Christmas and Sunday, my husband who is an independent electrician should be compensated for the time he lost. He makes $250 per day, which is now 5 day or $1250.00. And continue to compensate until the delivery is complete. Or give me a full refund and take your furniture back.

The delivery did unfortunately have missing pieces. The delivery for the missing pieces were delayed due to the hectic holiday time. We do apologize to the customer. To resolve this, we got the customer brand new pieces for their bed. The customer can cell me if there are further questions at [redacted]

Review: I purchased a sectional from Adora Home Furniture in October of 2012. By May of 2013 I noticed the cushions becoming worn and misshapen.

On June 12, 2013 I and my mother visited Adora Home Furniture to file a complaint with about the couch cushions. At this time we spoke with the manager, [redacted], about my problem. I asked him to pull my record of the purchase, which he could not do because they were “somewhere in his files”. The following issues were covered in our conversation:

1. [redacted] told me I could send him pictures of the couch and he would gladly forward them to the manufacturer

2. My mother specifically asked how long this entire process would be and he said 30 days; she said to him she will return in a month to make sure all things are complete

3. He confessed to me that the lender who takes customers payments, “Why Not Lease It”, has taken payments past the total amount due from several customers and because of this the company no longer works with “Why Not Lease It”

After leaving the store we sent pictures to [redacted]’s email and the general Adora email the same day. I received no response for several days. I called to make sure he received the email [redacted] said to me "Yes I have it but there are no pictures attached." I resent the email and he replied confirming he forwarded the pictures to the manufacturer.

I had to repeatedly contact [redacted] to check the status of the order. He said the manufacturer agreed to replace the cushions. This was something we both agreed upon with 2 weeks in the 30 day estimate. Once July 12, 2013 hit I made a mental note to contact Adora Home Furniture as I had not heard of anything from them.I called the store on July 20, 2013 and spoke to an associate of the store because he said [redacted] was working with a customer. This associate told me that it will now take 4-6 months before the cushions will come in. He also said to me that [redacted] never said 30 days but he quickly retracted the statement when I reminded him this conversation had a witness.

I had agreed on the cushion exchange within 30 days with [redacted]. However, I am not okay with the verbal agreement changing without notice from 30 days to 4-6 months. I also feel waiting 4-6 months will push the couch out of its one year manufacturer warranty which leaves me with no safety net to fall on if needed. I am unhappy with the way this matter has been handled. There has been a serious problem with customer service and attempts to change the verbal agreement. This store has connected me to a shifty finance company and made no efforts to keep me updated on the status of the order or other needed information.Desired Settlement: I want Adora Home Furniture to come pick up the defective couch from my apartment and I want the store to refund me for the total paid amount of $1,380.70. This refund can come in the form of a certified cashiers check or in cash. I also want a sincere apology from [redacted] for the way he and his associates have treated me throughout this entire process.
