I have had the worst experience with adorable bulldogs.com. I paid $1500 for one of their bulldog puppies that I adopted last month (March 15, 2016) my puppy came with a 100% Health Garanteed certificate and a one year health warranty. The second I got him home he started spitting up and having diarrhea. That very first night I woke up to him barking so I checked on him and he was covered in diarrhea so I gave him a bath and was calming him down when he sneezed blood out of his nose. My husband and I rushed him to an emergency vet at 3am and they sent us home with some antibiotics. Well the spitting up turned into full blown vomitting and I started seeing blood in his diarrhea, it was awful. I took him to a different vet and he tested positive for Parvovirus. That virus is very fatal, the vet said he had a 50/50 chance of surviving. We did everything we could, we took turns staying home with him and watched him all night long, giving him his medicine and subcutaneous fluids as the vet instructed us. The breeder [redacted], from this website adorablebulldogs.com told us she would reimburse us for the puppie's medical bills although she kept arguing with us that it wasn't Parvo and was very rude and unprofessional through every interaction (I have saved all the email transactions between us). 2 weeks later our pup survived! ALOT of lost work for my husband and I and $800 later our pup was alive. My regular weekly paycheck is $600, that first week of his sickness because I had to take off so much my paycheck was only $86.72.
He started gaining weight and playing like a normal puppy, we were overjoyed. At this point [redacted] said she sent us a check in the mail which never arrived. Then she said she was coming to Orlando and said we could meet up so she could give us the $800 in person. The day we we planned to meet up she stopped replying to our calls and emails and NEVER reimbursed us the $800 for the vet bills of this sick puppy she sold us with a health guarantee (Not to mention our lost wages). One month goes by, our puppy had received his next 2 rounds of vaccinations as normal, he was healthy and energetic. Well, yesterday was April 27. My husband came home from work and our puppy was lying in his bed, stiff as a board, dead. He was acting completely fine yesterday morning, he ate nothing different, he wasn't vomitting or having diarrhea, there was no foaming of his mouth so he couldn't have eaten anything poisonous. The vet said it sounded like he died of a heart condition because he hadn't shown any symptoms, but they would have to run tests to determine the cause of death. We can't afford any more medical bills for this puppy and nothing was going to bring him back so we just chose to bury him in the yard. We had him for 6 weeks total, from March 15, 2016 to April 27,2016. We spent thousands of dollars on him between the intitial purchase price of $1,500, the medical bills of $800 plus the price of his regular vaccinations, all his puppy supplies that cost hundreds of dollars, my husband and I's lost wages, ...etc. We are so very heartbroken about it, despite the financial burden it caused us we are devastated to have lost our sweet puppy we only had the privilege of knowing for 6 short weeks. I feel like he was a part of our lives for so much longer.
