[redacted] was a guest of Adore Salon and Spa on 3/13/15.  The week prior to her service she came in and had a consult with our fresh talent stylist [redacted] to talk...

about her service and what she wanted done.  When informed that [redacted] did not have any availability in her schedule that would meet her needs she requested to see another stylist that better suited her schedule.  [redacted] was referred to our master stylist [redacted] and placed on her books.
It is customary to have a consult with the stylist they are to have service done as every stylist/artist has a different vision and interpretation.  [redacted] was unsure of what she wanted but insisted we call the stylist she previously consulted with (said stylist had the day off) to ask her.  We obliged to her request and had a conversation with the stylist.
[redacted] was very patient gathering every piece of information that she could as to what was wanted, customer service is our number one concern.
[redacted] was told that we would honor the full highlight Groupon price in salon which was $59.  This was a courtesy to her as this option was actually no longer available to purchase on-line as it had sold out and was no longer offered.  The full highlight offer includes 80 grams of color and with the thickness and length of her hair, this was the best deal for her.  Any additional color used after this amount is charged a product charge, this is stated in all Groupons print.  It is always our policy to quote our guests up front if we feel there would be any additional charges.
After deciding on what [redacted] wanted, [redacted] felt that she could proceed and all color would be covered under her Groupon offer.  [redacted]'s normal price for this same service without a Groupon would be 180 dollars, so [redacted] was receiving a fantastic value.
[redacted] did as [redacted] asked for her service and when almost complete [redacted] stated that she was not happy with the tone of her highlights.  In order to make our guest happy, [redacted] toned [redacted]'s hair to give her the color she was satisfied with, of course, at no additional charge (guest satisfaction).  When [redacted] finally left for the evening she stated how much she loved her hair and even left [redacted] a $40 dollar tip for all her hard work, very generous!
The next day our manager Amelia received a call that [redacted] was very happy with her color but wanted to add more highlights to make it even brighter.  Amelia explained that if it was a fix due to stylist error then no additional charges would apply but if it was building on the service she had already received then there would be an additional fee.
Amelia asked her if she was available to come in on Tuesday so she could look at her hair and help evaluate what the process would be.  Tuesdayarrived and [redacted] called in the morning asking to talk with Amelia, she was with a guest, so a message was left for her.  Two hours later, Amelia was still with her guest, [redacted] showed up in the salon.
As Amelia was unavailable, I as the owner, stepped in.  I took her back to look at her hair, where she stated many times how happy she was with it, just wanted to do more.  The color was beautiful and she actually received far more than the Groupon even covered, at no additional charge.
I spend almost 40 minutes trying to explain how the Groupon worked and what it covered, very patiently trying to make her understand she received the service she paid for plus more.  Any additional services would be at our regular price as Groupons are a first time guest offer.  I still do not understand where [redacted] has got the idea of a full highlight Groupon being only $7 more, as she received the full Groupon offer......I tried as hard as I could to explain everything to her time and time again.
She received far more than her $59 dollar purchase and to ask for it back after the work she received on her hair is puzzling to me as well. No error was made in her color and she received amazing work (I can provide pictures).
She continued to stand up front in my salon and argue in front of other guests and make a scene  threatening to complain all over social media and then to you the Revdex.com.  I thought it in the best interest of my salon and other guests receiving a relaxing service, if I ask her to leave.
No amount of explaining was going to help her understand and a difference of opinion was met.  If any additional information is required I would be happy to provide as well as the pictures I took of her hair the day she returned.

Review: One week before my appt I went in for a consult with Lauren. I showed pictures and was told of things to be done with my hair which was they would put color in it, highlights and low lights and I had mentioned to them their advertisement on Groupon if I can use, which they quoted me $60. I then had an appointment scheduled with [redacted] and when I went in with her she didn't have a clue on what was to do & there were no notes as to what was discussed to be done with my hair. So she had to call the woman that scheduled for my hair-not the woman (Lauren) that consulted me with what she wanted to do to get the look that I wanted. [redacted] proceeded to do my hair and first time it came out blonde highlights which I said it looked blonde & not what I wanted and that was hard enough to say because it was 8:20pm & I felt bad that it wasn't what I wanted. So she did a tone which came out of some copper color. She did mention that I had thicker than normal people's hair before she started. We did not finish until almost 9pm. I went home & looked fully in the light in mirror & noticed it wasn't many highlights & color not that red.I decided to call back the next day to discuss & did which was Saturday and spoke with an Amelia who said I can come in the following Tuesday when she's more available and she can look at my hair and add more highlights but if it's something that was more complex that I had wanted I would have to pay extra. That Tuesday I had called & was told she will call me back when she was done with her guest. Two hours later & I never got a call back so I decided to go there. When I went there she was still busy, the owner came up to me named Callie Smith & said she would like to help me. She looked at my hair & then started to schedule me. I asked- Im not being changed for and she said I would have to pay because it's a process. All I wanted was more highlights...Puzzled she kept telling me why she cant help & just said she has to turn me away and left at that.Desired Settlement: I would like my $60back. I asked for that toward the end of our discussion and she said she cannot do that. If she could not do that why couldn't she make this situation better and quote me of the advertised Groupons for (full highlights) & that was just $7 more and I can pay that as it would the be the difference? I didn't even get a style and the haircut was almost bypassed had I not mentioned it.
